Passengers around them started boarding the plane, with their loved ones waving good-byes at them, some were happy, some were crying. The atmosphere was mixed with emotions.

Kanna began to take slow steps backwards, her hand still firmly held by Haruto, refusing to let her hand go.

As Kanna continued to walk backwards her hand began slipping from Haruto's grip, his expressions filled with sadness trying to hold on, but eventually the grip broked, and their hands got separated.

Disheartened, Haruto managed a weak smile, struggling to hold his tears.

Kanna was walking backwards, her gaze fixed on Haruto with a warm smile and tears in her eyes, Kanna then quickly turned her back on Haruto and hurried towards the waiting plane.

Haruto, watching her leaving, his heartbeat racing, as he struggles to maintain a forced smile through his growing sadness.

As Kanna climbed up the boarding stairs and reached the door of the airplane, she paused and turned around her eyes meeting with Haruto, who was standing watching her with a forced smile. They shared a moment of eye contact, both smiling faintly, Kanna raised her hand in a gentle wave. Haruto's smile grew wide as he gently waved back.

Kanna quickly hurried inside the plane, as it prepared to take off, all the gathered crowd outside the plane, including Haruto began walking backwards, as the plane's engine roared to life. Haruto's eyes got filled with tears but he remained focused on the plane.

In an instant the plane lost all control, and began to fall, dropping from the sky with terrifying spins, it felt like a burning fireball approaching the earth.

Haruto jolted awake from his sleep, sitting up straight on his bed, gasping for air, his face drenched with sweat, he quickly scanned the surroundings and saw he was in his room, on his bed, and it was morning already, it was just a dream.

Haruto kept sitting on his bed, gasping for air, he quickly pressed both his hands on his forehead, closing his eyes and taking deep breaths, trying to calm his racing heart.

After a few moments of taking deep breaths, Haruto glanced at his phone which was next to his pillow, he swiftly grabbed it and opened Kanna's inbox, noticing that she was last active an hour ago, he took a sigh of relief.

After a few moments of staring at the screen he placed his phone back on the bed, without texting her, he then stood up and began walking toward the restroom, his steps slow, trying to clear his mind.

After completing his morning routines, he returned to his bed and sat down, placing his both hands on his forehead, his mind still filled with the thoughts of that dream, the then swiftly grabbed his phone, opening Kanna's inbox, he began typing, "Good morning, are you okay?" he seemed hesitated, but then sends the message, he then stared the screen for a moment before opening his gallery, opening Kanna's image gazing at it in silence…

Later, Haruto was in the staff room of his workplace where he opened his locker and pulled out his apron and cap, placing his wallet inside, then pulled out his phone from his pocket, switching it on, he saw that Kanna hasn't read his message yet, with a hint of sadness he put his phone inside the locker, locking it…

Haruto was now busy with his work, scanning items and handing over receipts to the customers, who all were waiting in line.

Haruto handed over the receipt to an old lady who took it and began to walk away with slow steps, as Haruto instinctively looked up to attend his next customers when suddenly his eyes widened in disbelief, because the customer standing before him was Kanna.

Haruto stood stunned, his eyes wide with disbelief, fixed on Kanna, she too stared back at him, her face etched with confusion, time had stopped for a moment between them.

In a trembling whisper, Haruto said "Kaana?"

Kanna's eyes widened with confusion, "Kanna?" she asked, trying to make sense of the moment.

As Haruto blinked in disbelief, the image before him shifted, now it was just a random girl standing before him, he was stunned, gazing at that random girl who he mistook with Kanna.

"Who's Kanna?" Random girl asked, her irritation evident. "And stop wasting my time, just do your stupid job."

Haruto quickly shook his head, clearing his mind "I'm sorry, I mistook you for someone i know." he said, smiling warmly.

"Whatever, Just get over with this" The girl replied curtly.

Haruto, smiling nervously, began scanning the items, Meanwhile Makoto from the corner of his eyes was observing everything in silence…

At night, Haruto entered the staff room and stood near his locker, appearing exhausted. With slow movement he took off his cap, opened his locker, as he retrieved his phone, he saw there was a new message from Kanna.

Upon seeing Kanna's message notification, a warm smile spread across Haruto's face, he tapped on the notification which took him into Kanna's inbox, where he read the message.

"Good morning to you too, yes, I'm fine. Why did you ask? Did you have a bad dream or something?"

Haruto's warm smile remained as he kept looking at the message.
