Chapter 2 - Judgament for Little Prodigy

Well, the first chapter; Consequences

Lot's of annoying characters will be introduced, and I know it sucks but these are the OC's important for the politics of Kengoku, also we will see much more of his capabilities, but of course, as the opening of the story, our character is trying to find what he is going to do in his life… thus we are in start right now.

While I won't just set some waifus for our character but that's not going to happen as you think, even then it is obvious he will leave this place at a very early age, so what place's do you want him to visit? I make a plan for nearly all places in DxD even Hades's realm, so if you want him to visit certain places, he will meet waifus reside in there, so even if there is no lovey-dovey with random waifu, MC will interact with them, please write where he should go in reviews like Kyoto means he will meet Kunou and maybe Yasaka and even Underworld is possible, if that happens we will see a very early interaction with Ravel and others in the end Underworld is open for humans, just some purebloods doesn't like reincarnation system but even they are fine with humans as they love watching them, that's why in this story Gremory's will not be the only family interact with humans(he won't be a peerage member though…that is impossible in every imaginable way.)

Let's start.

Rio was still standing a bit away from Kouki, so several people can take care of him, he absolutely makes sure that he won't die after this attack, directly or indirectly, he was actually a bit worried because he thought Kouki would attack him directly after used every buff for his sword, he indeed attacks but not melee he actually used a flashy move in the start of the fight, this is certainly something Rio should've thought, because of new relation about his family, Rio felt like this is actually a battle where he might lose… While it was possible if Kouki knew what he is capable of, but that was a wrong style of thinking because even after the fight, Kouki or any other person knows nothing other than he is capable of a tricky martial art move, it was masterful, but not important when compared to sword user of this generation, like Layla Senjin.

Not just sacred gears and blessings, actually, this generation was also strong with amount of swordsmen blood they are born with, their muscle better, they see better and their movement much smoother, if you have above average swordsmen blood that might even affect your magic, and I bet with amount of swordsman blood Layla has, it effect everything she actually born with, but I can't be sure because I already saw twice that their family not honest when it comes to talent of their children; I know families does dirty things for fame and glory but I cannot help but feel what they are doing is feels weird, if they just keep it secret that enough would make them famous as today with all those speculations, after all rumours show someone with bright future and beautiful , much better than everyone else and they will talk about them like they are most special, this fact did bother Rio in the past a bit, but Rio figure it out this is an incredible asset, no matter how much scary potential and power he shows it doesn't matter, everyone will think how Rio used a trick and what he is doing is not actually not that special, even their mind will lie to them, if something is possible than you should consider if it is true or not, no one in this world will consider thinking about Rio's skill even if he did something abnormal.

Rio actually wanted to prove that time to time, it has always proven right, he literally told that goddess about his achievements his preparations for the future and his obsession that she will never understand, she might be wise, and smart but even her knowledge would be an asset for Rio because if she is smart, she can create a reason why Rio actually managed to do these things normal talented 7 years old can't.

Like forest trolls, forest troll's skin gets weaker when they are so close to dying, Rio actually avoided trying to kill those too old when he saw their skin is not tough anymore, this fact didn't come to Rio's mind when he confesses to Amaterasu but she, as a goddess, has knowledge about the anatomy of beings through knowledge every god saw things die and they killed lots of different species, even most ignorant god is gained extraordinary knowledge through experience, but Rio understand yesterday.

Learning with experience unequal to thoroughly studying the material.

Rio's dangerous confessions let him learn something precious, he was glad, he was something new after all he became something new when he decided he won't rely on his experiences from his past life(to him all those his past lives is one life.)

He cut himself from his deep thoughts because now it was time to lose things, it was time to consequences of his actions and how much he can survive from those actions, he looked at his surroundings and analyzed without a sudden movement, he wasn't calm at all, he was pretty defenseless in this situation, and he can tell from conversations he hears right now 'If I turn around and left the arena right now… I might have a chance to escape from this situation he thought and even with the possibility he knew his unluck won't let him escape from here, but he would've surprised if someone tried to stop him, after all, people act like he doesn't exist, even in this world, it is the same.

He slowly turned back and walked away from the arena, surprisingly no one stopped him. He would've sighed in relief but he knew he couldn't relax at all.

After walking away from the arena a bit he heard a voice.

"Rio san!" It was cute, a sweet voice called him like she was worried about him, he couldn't tell if it is a lie or not, he wasn't being honest though, every instinct he developed saying voice contains genuine concern but interacting with her is a problem, his logic says he should've made a connection with her and her family already and maybe even some manipulation, but he never wanted to associate with families like Senjin's and the only reason they are different because Miharu, Rio still couldn't decide what to think about her.

She is literally the source of his problems.

"Rio-san, are you alright?" This time she got bolder, she should've felt furious after the last time I rejected any communication with her, and she got bolder? That's... a problem.

"Senjin-san…. Why are you asking me if I am right? I didn't get hit by anything." I said, like last time, I was using the logical side and trying to block the conversation, but somehow she gained immunity this time...

"But I am not talking about that... people react very rudely, even if you are the one who prevailed, I am sure you tried your best... or maybe not, but even then you didn't deserve to be treated like someone suspicious!" she said with passion, excitement, and sadness, feeling such emotions for something I live every day, this girl...

"I am not bothered by things like that anymore. It's not something different for me, you shouldn't worry about me, also we are not that close, to begin with, I wouldn't worry about you just because others look at you badly, so you shouldn't do it either." I said firmly, making sure she understands her position, she might think we are friends but that is not the case at all, but for some reason, she got happier.

I would judge what she is saying right now… but I cannot judge something I do not understand, it's not like I don't know why someone might want to be friends with another person, I know and I certainly have social skills even if I am an absolute loner, out of necessity and choice.

She is not just someone with talent, Miharu is someone popular and lovely, loved by all of our age, and tries to understand all old-minded elders and even try to learn from them, listening to their 'boring' talk, this is not something everyone would do. About the purpose of talking, to those elders talking is not about teaching at all, because knowing pure information is not enough to teach, teachers translate textbook information to something we can learn much easier… Miharu actually asks those things, of course, that wouldn't be enough to make an old man explain further something they are not even master but when they are against Miharu's cute aura and honest curiosity, even if they are not good enough to teach, they are sharing… which means, they are not that selfish, but they certainly need a push.

After Miharu got better things she was doing good, be it simple tasks for 6 years old or real training(again for 6 years old) she was giving real effort and even ask those grumpy old guys, thus, she surpassed others, while I can swear she was hated, in time, Miharu also shared those tricks, Miharu could, and should've just make peace, but even other taught other children about how to learn things.

Shortly, Miharu was a minority and changed things and also loved.

She gains so much honest affection, even from people superficial and hateful which is they are the part of people who attacks me, even them accept Miharu, which made me realize, there is no ultimate ignorance in this world, something absolutely keep every intelligent being from true ignorance and bigotry if they are not drowning in hate and fear, that is…

Does that mean there is no absolute racism in this world? What can cause this? Oh… actually humankind being REALLY peaceful after some conflicts and that made me shiver when I realized that…

The era of witch hunts closed pretty quickly after some 'witch' saw capabilities with healing, without sacred gear or anything, water affinity, and a talented healer.

Vampires in this world are exorcised but there is so MUCH vampire community... and I have so many theories about them, I am pretty sure they are some kind of supreme part of the vampires that don't need anything like blood for their development. (yes there is no vampire kind that requires human or any type of blood to stay alive.) Their kind has their own magic system and most popular vampires are ignorant bigots and less powerful than most factions. I am getting pretty prideful but I fear no vampire from Tepes or any faction, they are not predators and… much more arrogant than any supernatural species. No one can make me believe blood magic made by current vampires...

Do you want more proof of the weirdness of human peace in this world, after economic problems and everything solved for a while… after then, there was not a single animosity between countries, I dare say there will be no 3rd World War. America and Russia act like competitive dudes trying to impress the audience(world) since their race on rocket science, don't misunderstand, poor existence but there is no war.

I couldn't find any evidence that the supernatural's existence causes natural peace for humans.

After living so much I guess I have to believe what I am seeing, humans find their own peace without any outside help.

That made me think 'so I am going to humanity's knight or something? And wipe everyone out if they touch the normal people?' and I got curious, what will be the reaction of the consciousness of the world will be…

And I am stunned.

The world itself doesn't allow normal destruction, some sort of rules and wishes of the world should be considerate if you are going to kill living beings in that way, you cannot use your somewhat special powers because you are some random Satan-class being, no one tried or succeed but I know, even if everyone let someone to destroy or doesn't care, the world will stop if that guy is ignorant, so while Dragon of Domination Draig Y Goch or God of Destruction Shiva, in theory, can charge their power and destroy the world but they absolutely cannot… actually their capability of destroying the world is much less than normal people, as a dragon you already a type of power which created by the world, and if you take the name of God of Destruction and world recorded you as such… good chance of doing that thing because you gained your title by the will of humankind which means the title of destruction delivered by the world.

But I can… I can wipe the world and even if I destroy it, the world simply sees it as a natural event and starts repairing after kicking me to Dimensional Gap and making me live there with Ophis and Great Red.

But now I am seeing some bigots have actually kind sides of their hearts... or at least acceptable.

Which Miharu showed me… but I also know that I am definitely going to catch some powerful individuals doing shady things and I won't watch when that happens… my aim doesn't change in this case and try to talk to them and maybe grant their wish in a different way, if I can that is.

I fully turned towards her and looked inside her eyes deeply. "I am sure you know me being friends with you will affect me, in a way both from outside and also it's not something in my comfort zone, it is hard to calculate and you watching me caused things already, I don't dislike you, I am having problem to understand why you specifically want my friendship, and I do actually think we can be good friends, but there is so much thing to think for me, I am sorry for making a simple friendship request this complicated, but from my side, it is complicated, I apologize deeply." and I made a perfect bow for 2 seconds then back to my old position, I waited for an answer.

"I understand some of the reasons why this is a problem for you, and I am sure there is so much, but I can't help but want to know Rio-kun better, so please think about it, and I am felt refreshed when Rio-kun made me a swing, it was also fun to swinging and chatting with Rio-kun."

She had a dislike for me but after defeating her brother with a technique like that, she is looking with burning eyes… But I am good at understanding the reason for negative intent. I can say the exact reason if I have enough information, after receiving plenty of it I developed this skill in this life before I wouldn't need something like that, but now I want to understand more because I do not understand… The reason she is looking like that is because of the technique I used not because I hospitalized her brother, and she is not old-minded as saying I 'stole' it but she is rather calculative, after hearing her being a bro-con… I thought she would get emotional, I think she outsmarted Kouki while hiding her true intentions for me.

So, in family, you cannot have interest in me while showing this openly, even if they don't know I am from family… what a bad way of hiding things...

Oh… I just realized Miharu started calling me Rio-kun, what a social power, cute girls are scary. She quickly changed to 'san' though, she is being careful to not cause any problem to me, while it might be because of family… I do not think their Father said anything about me to Miharu, or give any reaction to my existence, Miharu is not just a loved one but also curious, he wouldn't take that risk.

After truly giving up on talking to me without Miharu, Layla Senjin turned towards me, and I started acting in a 'right' way and posture.

"Senjin-sama, what do you wish to talk to me about? Perhaps it is about the duel, I just used an opportunity and came out as a winner, nothing more, so that's why I do not deserve any compliment." While the second part might be stupid but they don't know what I can do, so they can't know if I could beat Kouki if he didn't use that lightning strike…

I also acted a bit ignorant, seeing an opportunity and using it is the most natural thing in the world, so I just gave her the chance of correcting me… and I also know she is quite good when it comes to the sword, not because of enormous amount of swordsman blood, I just watched her training from far away, she is too versatile for just someone with talent.

Miharu looks at me with an amazed look, I know the reason, because of this reason her big sister will-

"Just as expected, as a swordsmen Layla-sama figured it out, I didn't knew what to do but when I saw my chance I tried my best" Where I said her name is important, if I say 'as expected from a Senjin' she would've pissed of from inside, but I am not saying like that just out of caution, she actually earns it, it is not nice when all achievement's credit goes to your family and not you, I never felt this but I observed that much… Personally, I wouldn't mind, everyone can take my credit, it would only cause problems for me.

"But I am thinking of resigning from the tournament. " Senjin-sama stated her confusion with only expressions, but Miharu also made a cute, surprised sound.

"But why?" She simply asked before Miharu, is she curious or…

"Well… even Senjin-sama is participating… If I know my luck, I can bet we will fight next round. She is the most troublesome opponent after all." This time I also gained a surprise but not cute at all, 'Hah?' from Senjin-sama, it was too weird to make a decision just speculating one's luck but I was sure… While I will not be defeated by my extraordinary misfortune, but I acknowledge its existence, it would be foolish to not to.

"Even if that is the case, you should try your chance, who knows, maybe an opportunity rises again." She said in a convincing tone and left, is it because you want to beat me up after I beat your brother? Or I just pique your curiosity? Which one I wonder.

Miharu smiled like she understood me and continued the conversation. "But, Isn't your technique destroying your weapons? So you can't use those weapons with their full potential."

Tch… she is spitting the facts, I am trying to maintain weapons with my own technique to be able to defend against strong attacks with weak weapons, but it turns out, my technique is even more dangerous for my own weapons, I don't want to talk about that technique but even the technique I am using during normal moves is not good as I want, thus weapon starts to crack from insides.

This nearly caused me to take damage from a poisonous beast, though afterward, I invented a technique that makes me feel the conditions of the sword, while main reason I am capable of this, is something called Sword Intent but usually it is used to scare the enemy and cutting much better if you are a master, I cannot use spells so I invented a way to know the condition of my poor swords.

"Well… I get better at it, I am not…. Like that anymore" I was blushing and felt a bit shy, normally the enemy can't see what happens to my weapon after using that technique but Miharu was an ally when the monster attacked us.

"Hehe~ It's not something to get shy. You can just buy another sword."

Bit? Ahahahahahah… I have 0 money.

I destroyed a cave and created a mine while blowing myself up, while magic exists, I become a master at making explosives while using minimum money... I lived in a mine for a week.

I turned towards Miharu and she got a bit red and there was a bit of sadness in her eyes.

"Please don't pity me. If I wanted, I could've just stayed in an orphanage and never left that place, but I didn't choose that path."

"Perhaps that's right, but I think Rio-kun is very capable of various things!" Perhaps that is right, I might seem pretty capable in Miharu's eyes, after all she is someone who sees the non-magical skills are also important and it might even affect someone's capability of magic.

"Hmm… time sure flies fast. Let's head back to the arena and see who I am matched-up with… though you know my prediction."

"Yes. I also believe Rio-kun has massive misfortune, maybe someone cursed you?"

"Maybe. But I really do not think so." Certain events and their way of happening, possibilities and my magical state, when I consider all of these variables, it is obvious no one knows me enough to place an 'misfortune curse'.

But I feel absolutely natural, I was always unlucky, it seems this is one of the things never changed, we slowly walked, I didn't know when the next round was going to start but… Miharu's walking pace was slow, she might have wanted to walk with me here, when we were close to the announcement board I made a request for Miharu, selfish but it would have certainly helped if she helped me.

I simply said that I didn't wanted to show while looking at my own match up, so I asked her to look for me, this is going to help me because even if I beat someone like Kouki, I didn't have the talent or family name to back me up, some random arrogant or curious person might try to talk me about that fight instead of using his brain and try to question why he is even asking me.

I was already doing plans for that type of conversation but Miharu saved me, she could be an asset as she brings trouble huh?

Rio, thought while watching Miharu from distance, people already surrounded her and asking questions why she was here, an idiotic question, she was looking for matchups but people there actually curious about why she didn't join the competition, while it was a competition and it was made for youngs, he didn't understand why they are asking her...

Isn't Miharu 6 years old?

Now, Rio was curious, but he couldn't think about her, he should've formed thoughts about Layla, if she caught her momentum, Rio had to lose, even if he can beat him, it doesn't matter. Because if Layla catch's her momentum, Rio actually had to use his sword like he is using his sword, as a simple person, Rio's way of using sword is going for conclusion, if he just start doing that , there would be very inhuman block and parries, because her way of using so fluid and she is hardworking.

Layla wasn't just talented, she was also working hard, so Rio needed to use his own brain and use techniques that he created with powerful obsession.

When that happens, it doesn't matter if Rio holds back or not, when she losses, she will definitely look surpassed, Rio couldn't use sword like other humans or any being, just use techniques to hit faster, that is of course not a bad thing but Rio wins while using sword slower, it would be too calculated that everyone see it as he doesn't even trying, so he hold back or not doesn't matter.

Let's say Layla start a technique and after some slashes she is doing 10 or 20, maybe 100 if you want without stopping, Rio doesn't have to see technique before hand, while Rio has to see techniques at least once to prepare against them, he doesn't always have to do that, there are rules for doing continues slashes without stopping and also being fluid, Layla is a genius, but she just does the technique, Rio tried abnormal amount of tries to understand those techniques while he doesn't have any requirement to actually learn them and use it, if we say that Layla using a similar techniques after some slashes, there would be things she needed to do in order to keep the form perfect and Rio is just going to stop her in that moment with a single movement, this won't work after some level but, that level is certainly much higher than Layla's

In this scenario Rio simply blocked Layla's high speed attack's and combo stopped, at this moment Rio lost the purpose of what he is trying to do, it doesn't matter if he just used logic and didn't even actually use his brain.

To Layla and literally every person who watches him, he just stopped a Ultimate Sacred Technique passed down for some ridiculous amount of years and only some capable of using… and the person just used is already activated one of the highest amount of swordsmen blood from her veins and she is good even with that… Thus Rio is an anomaly because she actually touched her.

What did he just do? Catch the mother fucker!

Last part is just a bit of his imagination going wild but certainly, there is a possibility that might happen...

Let's just say Rio used the most efficient ways and techniques he knows and blocks every attack... wait... sword will be broken then?

Yes, he would have to use a bit absorbed mana in his body to enhance to sword so it won't be broken, but that would ne decrease his already weakened enhance capabilities, normally Rio can touch the blades with her in equal ground but impact of her attack will damage his bones, so no matter how much he blocks her attack succsesfully, he will take damage from insides.

There is no escape… then I am going to chance, and I won't forget Kouki started all of this.

I bring out my sword slowly and look at my reflection on it… I couldn't stop anymore, I got that feeling… so now logic is dead and my plans are changed, the most important conclusion I reachead

I THINK HE IS ALONE IN HOSPITAL

Rio looked at his reflection silently, his face was dark, really dark and scary, a child with unstoppable smile, he remembered those times he got his memories even when he was children, he would've look at kitchen knife and look himself, see his own Determination, his dark red eyes got much more lively than normal…

Maybe this is the reason he gained his memories?

Should he reconsider his path?

But then he turned his sword a bit with a little wrist movement, and saw Miharu's pale face… it is not her business so it is fine.

"Miharu-san, did you learn who I matched up with?" Was sending Miharu even worth it? Should he keep thinking about this kind of strategy? Why is he using his brain cells for things like that?

Well it is a good skill but I can just move straight forw…

Sometimes I forget that in this world, no one knows what the hell privacy is…

While I was going towards arena, I saw several people looking at me, but I couldn't care at this moment, maybe tomorrow but I am tired this stupid game today, and just when I think that, I saw everyone looking at Layla's direction, which is far away from here, the man talking with Layla actually one of the elders, and he is a very good lightning practitioner, even talks Takemikazuchi-sama regularly, he is Sumaro Hikari-sama, man is a total samurai, his katana and everything he wore supports his technique, he is a true master, he is elder not because of his family, no, he is Pillar of Lightning current highest ranking lighting practicioner. Layla being one of the most talented fire element user, which comes from her family, she didn't blessed with lightning side of her family talent, I actually find quite admirable that people use lightning as their style and techniques, are capable of doing fastest quick openings or dashes, which is why I also trained myself in that part while studying those techniques, but god speed lightning attacks with sudden movements was impossible for him, it would destroy his body, he was 7 years old so it was logical.

He waited for a while watched his surrounding, he heard some rumours about himself, he can't believe what he did seriously happened, just because he didn't overpowered Kouki, he labeled as some kind of lucky guy underestimated by Kouki Senjin, they were so sure I would lost to Layla Senjin, people started talking other rounds matchups, I know which fight they are hoping to see in top spot? Did they mean finals?. It's Layla's brother or a girl that I forgot, she is niece of someone important, her elemental magic and stuff… but I know she will probably resign, I do not know if she believe she can beat everyone or not but I know she just shows what she can do, it's so sad that everyone thinks you got powerless after showing up in front of them…

The reason of this stupid behavior is when you see someone doing something good or extraordinary, or good you can be jelous or not, this is natural, but when this magical kind too obsessed with power and everything even if they don't know, subconsciously they do not want to acknowledge how far power gap actually is between them and 12 years old children, when this children or any type of powerful individual not seen for a while, they start speculating and wishing something happened to them and they lost their power, this is one of the reasons why even when people know each others capabilities and still underestimate each other, this will never change and always will be exploitable, when someone actually tries and beats them or showing some effort they might still do this but not deluded by their own beliefs.

But there is a difference between this and my case, in my case they have the most delusional idea that only with this delusion it makes impossible them to touch me, when I appear to be talentless and carve my own way and do things they actually cannot comprehend, their brain lies into them and they create talent out of nowhere, in this case all these competitors and others already speculating what kind of power I have, this is so delusional that I am exploiting this and using for myself with doing absolutely nothing because there is no need to, I am literally manipulating and using their beliefs to surpass them by doing nothing, and it won't matter if I keep beating people, they will just say I have different kind of power.

She was also different then others when it comes to showing off, she does as this is the way of this country, but she uses a little bit magical sword compared to who knows which legendary swords she is capable of using, so I am a bit glad, I would resign if she just bring some legendary sword, I cannot make a contact with one in age 7, I don't have a skill to make my absolutely ordinary sword durable enough to clash against some Ancient Sword with Magical origin, Sword Spirit or that kind of level… it won't stand even with my all powers.

And we are talking about my best sword by the way, I literally made it with a long process and got help from an old man, but it is just a well made sword and nothing more.

And now I am against some other red head, do not get me wrong, I don't remember him because I was looking some impossible talent with extraordinary amount of swordsmen blood, Yoriichi born and breath as how a normal human should which make him The Sun God, when I pray, I would pray someone gives me warm feeling with their memories in me, so I won't pray any god of sun, I pray to Yoriichi, not because he is deity but because his memory gives me a warm feeling, but it is also ironic that is a perfect example of relationship between God and those who pray to him.

Actually, I am pretty sure he became something like that… I have no evidence but, he is Yoriichi, his existence was so precious he wasn't used as someone to kill Muzan, instead he was someone who gave humanity a chance to fight against Muzan, which absolutely makes him an actual Hero or God.

Rio thought while making ridiculous speculations, his theories and notes about priestess take a lot of pages on his individual books, which there are little people worthy enough to get in there, some speculations that actually Miharu is a succubus and Isabella is some kind of higher being...

But mostly, I will lose because they will give others much more points for an epic fight or something… someone can gain 90 points from one match and I do not know if my latest match is good or bad to the jury.

Yep, our guy child zoned, his story revealed to more people which probably all elders will know through gossip etc.

But the sad part, our guy actually had a mark like Yoriichi's… he might start like him, powerful and seeing everything like X-ray, but they tried so hard to erase his talent XD, it is so fucking sad.

I am not sure but the Asgard part will be long and it will be before the Kuoh because after Asgard he would go to some superheated battle in Netherworld(Hades Realm) because it is connected.
