"Beli," muttered Alex. His voice was low, but the giant's expression softened as if he'd heard Alex.
"You're not fearful," commented Beli, allowing a gentle smile to bloom upon his face. "I figured you would piss your pants, considering I smiled at your father's death."
Alex's eyes widened slightly as a surge of anger rose. However, he suppressed them before hopping over to the island Beli was on. He then glanced at Beli, who nodded, before sitting opposite to him.
"That was an unfortunate event," said Beli. "Not at the time, though. At the time, I enjoyed it. Deaths of loved ones… the beast feast for a half-giant like me."
"Half-giant?" Alex asked, furrowing his brows. As far as he remembered, Beli was a pure-blooded giant from one of the strongest tribes. But then again, he did seem smaller compared to other giants.
"It seems your prophetic ability didn't tell you about that," smirked Beli. "Enough about me. That ability is bullshit, isn't it?"
