"Choose a weapon?" Sarah tilted her head awkwardly, furrowing her brows. "I already have a weapon, though."

"Didn't you say your mana wouldn't reach the core of the weapon?" Alex asked. "That's a problem we have to fix. You won't be able to display your full potential if you're obstructed by a mere weapon."

Sarah simply nodded, entertaining the possibility. However, learning how to properly utilize a new weapon was difficult. It would no doubt take her quite a long time to adjust. But time was something they didn't have on their side.

"What kind of sword did you try imbuing your mana into?" Alex inquired.

"I believe it was a long sword. The problem began immediately after I returned to Ad Astra after meeting Eugene."

A feeling of guilt rushed into Sarah's heart as she uttered the burly man's name. No longer could she let herself be oppressed by that traitorous man's death. He was dead, and she was alive. That was all that mattered.
