Chapter 17

Who could that be at this hour?

‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ ༺☆༻ ☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ 𓆩♡𓆪 ☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ ༺☆༻ ☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙ ‧͙⁺˚*･༓☾ 𓆩♡𓆪 ☽༓･*˚⁺‧͙

Nya got off from the bed and walked to the door to see who rang the doorbell and what they wanted so early in the morning.

The door opened and an all-too-familiar face was seen by Nya.

Nya shifted her weight to one leg. "What are you doing here?"

"I'm looking for Zayon. He said that he'd be here."

Nya exhaled deeply. "Well, I guess you could stay here until he comes back."

"Really? Thanks so much!" Nya stepped out of the way so that Reika could pass. Reika walked into the big mansion and sat on the leather couch, the one with a coffee table.

Nya sat down on the couch across from Reika's, and they just sat there in silence. Since it was really awkward, Reika decided to spark a conversation.

"So, how've you been?"

Nya did not want to talk to Reika. 𝘑𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘐 𝘭𝘦𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘸𝘢𝘪𝘵 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘡𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘮𝘺 𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘢𝘥 𝘰𝘧 𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘮𝘦𝘢𝘯 𝘸𝘦'𝘳𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘪𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘴. 𝘋𝘰𝘯'𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐 𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘨𝘰𝘵 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘢𝘱𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘺𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘦𝘳𝘥𝘢𝘺. Nya thought.

"Um, I've been really good." She replied.

Reika smiled at the sound of this. "You know, Zayon talks about you all the time."

𝘠𝘪𝘬𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵'𝘴 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘮𝘯 𝘭𝘪𝘦. Reika thought. But she lied because she knew that Nya believed that Zayon and Reika would start catching feelings for each other. So Reika tried to make Nya feel as if her husband actually did think about her, even when he was talking to Reika.

Nya raised her eyebrows the highest they could. She was surprised at this news because she never thought that her husband talked about her to other woman! Wow, that really boosted her confidence.

"Really? He does?" She squeaked excitedly.

Reika nodded and laughed. "Yep! He talks about how he wants to take you on a date sometime and go on a vacation with you and the kids!"

Oh no, what did Reika do? Now Zayon would be FORCED to take Nya on a date and go on a vacation with Nya and the kids, or else Nya would've thought Reika was lying. Plus, Nya looked so happy when hearing this. Reika didn't want to disappoint her by revealing that there was actually no vacation or date. So Zayon was going to have to make Nya happy. Reika didn't want to damage anybody's relationship. She was only trying to help!

Nya lit up when she realized that Zayon was being the husband she always wanted him to be. 𝘏𝘦'𝘴 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦? 𝘈𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦 𝘨𝘰𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘬𝘪𝘥𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘷𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯? 𝘛𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦? Nya wondered. Nya had a question, so she asked it.

"You said that Zayon's taking our family on a vacation, but to where is he taking us?"

Reika smiled nervously. "Oh, he's taking you to... um... Dubai!"

Ugh, she should've said she didn't know where Zayon was taking them! Dubai would definitely cause a lot of money and stress - hopefully Zayon would be on board with the plan of taking Nya on a date and taking his family to Dubai, because he had too! Nya's ecstatic expression made it hard to deny going on a date with her! Hopefully Zayon wouldn't mind too much.

Nya's smile got even wider. "Dubai! Oh my God!" She beamed. "I love Dubai! And Dubai is really expensive, so it's so amazing that he's taking me there, he's perfect! Absolutely no flaws!"

𝘠𝘦𝘢𝘩, 𝘪𝘵'𝘴 𝘦𝘹𝘱𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵. 𝘏𝘰𝘱𝘦𝘧𝘶𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘡𝘢𝘺𝘰𝘯'𝘴 "𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘧𝘦𝘤𝘵𝘯𝘦𝘴𝘴" 𝘸𝘪𝘭𝘭 𝘴𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦'𝘭𝘭 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘌𝘥𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘵𝘰 𝘋𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘪... Reika thought.

Just then, a 𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘥𝘰𝘯𝘨! could be heard.

Nya got up to answer the door. She opened the door and saw the it was Zayon. "Oh my God, Zayon!" Nya jumped in Zayon's arms and they both went tumbling down. Reika watched both Nya and Zayon on the floor and laughed. Normally, Zayon would yell at Nya for something like this. Like, how could she be stupid enough to jump in Zayon's arms knowing that his legs can't hold up the both of them? Zayon didn't understand how Nya could be so dumb. As said earlier, Zayon would normally yell at Nya for something like this, but having heard Reika's laugh and seeing her so amused by Nya making Zayon fall like she was the iceberg that sunk the Titanic, he let it go.

Zayon quickly picked himself up and helped Nya on her feet, too. Nya was surprised, and kind of impressed. She had expected Zayon to leave her still on the ground like he always did, but he instead helped her up! Who was this new Zayon?

"Thanks for the help!" Nya grinned. "Usually you'd just leave me to pick myself up, but you helped me instead! I like this new Zayon!"

Zayon exhaled deeply out of his nose when he saw the look on Reika's face. She was confused by Nya's words. She thought Zayon was a good husband, but Nya said... that he'd usually leave her to pick herself up? Reika side-eyed Zayon as he sat down on the couch across from her. Nya sat right next to Zayon and gave him a wet kiss on the cheek. Zayon was shocked and annoyed. What was she being so lovey-dovey for? He didn't need all her love right now.

"So, I heard you're taking me on a date later...!" Nya smiled. Now it was Reika's turn to exhale deeply out of her nose when she saw the look on Zayon's face. He was completely mystified. He was shocked and confused. His eyebrows furrowed when he heard this news. He wasn't going to take his wife on a date later, and Reika knew that. Her stomach felt like a rollercoaster listening to this couple speak about dates and vacations.

"And also..." Nya grinned greatly and looked Zayon straight in the eye. "I heard that you're taking me and the kids to Dubai, too!" She giggled and hugged Zayon, who looked as confused as an average second grader taking a physics quiz.

𝘞𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘥𝘪𝘥 𝘐 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵... 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘕𝘺𝘢 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦... 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐 𝘯𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘷𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯, 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘙𝘢𝘦𝘨𝘢𝘯, 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘥𝘰𝘦𝘴𝘯'𝘵 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘮𝘦, 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘦'𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘰𝘺𝘪𝘯𝘨. 𝘞𝘩𝘰 𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘸𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘰𝘯𝘦 𝘰𝘯 𝘢 𝘥𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘰𝘳 𝘷𝘢𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯? Zayon thought cluelessly to himself.

"Dubai is so expensive, so thank you so much for taking the time to pay for everything!" Nya gushed. "You're literally the sweetest."

𝘐'𝘮 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘸𝘦𝘦𝘵𝘦𝘴𝘵? 𝘉𝘶𝘵 𝘐'𝘮 𝘯𝘰𝘵 𝘵𝘢𝘬𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘰 𝘋𝘶𝘣𝘢𝘪! Zayon thought in disbelief. He then opened his mouth to say something, and Reika hoped it would be something like, "Well, I just wanted to spoil my favorite person on Earth, so of course I have to pay for a trip to Dubai and take her on a date!" Aww, that would be so sweet.

"Um, you know I'm not taking you to Dubai, right?"

Zayon just wanted to clear the confusion, because maybe Nya was getting Zayon and Blake confused. Maybe that was Blake's little "surprise". But when he saw Nya's face fall with disappointment, he knew something was wrong here.

Reika's stomach was hurting a lot. She decided that she would let the two solve this problem on their own, so she stood up to take her leave.

"Um, I'll be going now. See you two later." She quickly went for the door, unlocked it, and sprinted out the door. Reika could be seen by Zayon through the mansion's windows running like she was running from a serial killer. Why was she running so fast?

Nya looked up at Zayon sadly. "So, you're not taking us to Dubai?"

Zayon shook his head. "Sadly, no. I have the money for it, but not the time or patience."

"But I really wanted to go! Why would you lie like that, Zayon?"

Zayon got angry, fast. He was trying to be as calm and kind as he could, but Nya was pushing him to the edge! How come all that he's said was true facts and now Nya was blaming him for lying? He had told her that the family is not going to Dubai, did she think he was lying?

"Who's lying? Who the hell's lying?" Zayon yelled. "Because it's not me! I've told you the truth this whole time! I am NOT taking you on a date and you are NOT going to Dubai!"

Nya really thought that Zayon had changed. She was about to accept him as a kinder and changed husband, but he just changed her mind with this lying!

"Then how come you told that girl that you WERE taking us to Dubai?" She shot back. "See, you're always telling people that you treat me like a queen, when in reality, you treat me like an object! A toy to play with!"

Zayon was surprised by what Nya had just said. He actually had to break down what she said, because it didn't make sense to him. 𝘋𝘪𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘦 𝘫𝘶𝘴𝘵 𝘴𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘐 𝘧𝘢𝘬𝘦 𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘴𝘰 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘰𝘱𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢 𝘲𝘶𝘦𝘦𝘯, 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘯 𝘪𝘯 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘐 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘵 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘪𝘬𝘦 𝘢𝘯 𝘰𝘣𝘫𝘦𝘤𝘵? 𝘐 𝘤𝘢𝘯'𝘵 𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘴𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘤𝘦 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦'𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘮𝘶𝘤𝘩 𝘭𝘪𝘦𝘴! He thought, his anger boiling inside of him. He had said nothing but the truth this the whole time he was here, and now Nya was saying that he was lying? Plus, SHE was the one lying, Zayon hadn't even 𝘵𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘨𝘩𝘵 of telling anyone that he was going to take his family to Dubai!

"You dumb bitch, YOU'RE the one who's lying!" Zayon stood up from the couch and gave Nya a very annoyed look, so annoyed that he might punch her through the wall any second. "I never told anyone I was taking us to Dubai! You probably made that stupid shit up yourself, or someone's lying to you."

Nya changed her expression from offended and angry to a confused expression. She was considering Zayon's thinking to be correct. Maybe Reika 𝘥𝘪𝘥 lie to her about Zayon taking his family to Dubai.

"Who told you that I was taking us to Dubai?" Zayon asked.

Nya rolled her eyes, as if she was rolling her eyes at Reika like she was already here, sitting on the couch, looking guilty for making the two argue.

"That girl that came here earlier." She answered.

"Reika?"

"Yeah, whatever her name is."

"I don't think she would lie about something like..." Zayon's voice trailed off when he began to have flashbacks of Reika leaving abruptly, right when he and Nya were fighting, and seeing her run out of the house like she was running a race for one trillion dollars. Maybe she ran that fast because she was scared that she would get exposed for lying to Zayon and Nya. "Wait, I think I'm right. Someone did lie about me telling them that I was going to take our family to Dubai, and it was Reika."

Nya nodded her head. She then looked at Zayon apologetically. "Sorry for getting mad without knowing the full story. You were being so kind and I still decided to get angry over nothing."

Zayon just looked at Nya. He then finally muttered, "It's fine."

Nya sighed. "Maybe you should ask Reika why she decided to lie about all this."

"You know what? You're right. I'll go do that right now. I'll be right back."

Zayon walked to his room and took his phone from his nightstand. He walked back to the living room and started to text Reika.

yo why the hell would you lie? i dont like arguing with my damn wife and I had to do it today because of you.

Now all the two had to do was to wait for her reply.
