I will show you the results of my training!!

In the forest some distance away from the city everything seems quiet until a massive wave of force cuts through the trees.

Barely escaping the wave of force from Ace's buster sword, Steven lands on a branch of a tree and begins to think of a strategy. Ace was quiet and seemed to be deep in thought, Steven realized that something was on his mind.

"You know if one of those hits me I could die" he shouted out.

Ace seemed to have been brought back from his deep thought, he looked up at Steven, "I didn't use my full power, so you don't have to worry, if you can land a hit on me before the sun sets you passed my training and you will be ready for the SOLDIER training, but I won't make it easy for you"

Getting excited Steven decided that in order to pass the training he had to get serious. He thought to himself for a few seconds, then an idea popped into his head.

"Alright I'm gonna come at you with all I've got!!" Steven looked at Ace with a smile on his face as if he had already passed. A split second later Steven had vanished from the tree branch.

Ace didn't seem shocked by the fact that Steven had moved with such speed, he began to think to himself.

'Well he is fast on his feet he should be able to dodge enemy attacks at the last moment, he has a quick first step that is annoying to keep up with, but his attack and magic are a little off, so what is holding him back maybe I shoul-'

Ace puts his hand on his chin as he was thinking. Meanwhile Steven has been moving around looking for an opening. He was moving at such speeds that it would be difficult to see him if you were a normal person.

But even at this speed he couldn't find an opening, even as Ace was thinking profoundly he still had zero openings.

Steven decided to divert his attention elsewhere in order to land a hit with his wooden sword.

While still dashing around with speed Steven started to throw stones in different directions at Ace in order to divert his attention. He tosses many stones at a time so even tho Ace reacts to it he will be completely open. As the stones flew in all directions, Ace stopped his deep thought and swirled his buster sword around creating a small vortex of wind that dispersed the stones, but as he did this Steven suddenly appeared from behind with full speed with his wooden sword armed to hit Ace. But before he could land a hit Ace blocked him, the collision caused a shock wave which ended up pushing both guys to the floor.

Steven started laughing out of excitement, "I win!!"

Ace stayed quiet on the floor and thought to himself, 'I didn't expect him to have that much force behind that attack, I would have easily blocked him'

Ace stood up and looked at Steven, he smiled and said, "Well you did land a hit on me more or less, just promise me you'll be careful in the SOLDIER training cause it's gonna be a challenge"

"Yes sir I'll do my best, I'll show you the results of my training!!"

Looking at the sun about to go down Ace brought out a necklace with a stone pendant on it from his pocket, "Take this it will help you get your magica under control"

Steven took the necklace and put around his neck, "Woah thanks"

"Don't loose that, you're gonna need it"
