Tricking the enemy

In the middle of night, a young man was left alone on the road. Slowly, the man took steps forward and disappeared in the darkness.

The next day,

News of Neil being alive and the occurrence in the banquet of ANB Corps was once again pushed to the top. Most of the people were shocked by the news. Some believed it as a conspiracy or a rumour. Those loyal men of Neil and old men were happy by the news as they didn't know the real situation.

The news transmitted faster than expected. It created a sensation all over the city. People hadn't forgotten about the incident a few days ago and again Neil's news of being alive was in the limelight.

Tha mafia groups of Grasal surely heard it too and stayed alert. They began to search the whereabouts of Neil to deal with him. The enemy decided to assassinate Neil before his wings could grow and be able to take control of his father's position or create a headache for them. Still now the position of Lord of Grasal mafia was vacant.

With the news circulating, the people who were present on the graveyard on the rainy day, were mostly scared. With help and support of someone powerful they dared to attack openly that day so Neil's comeback wasn't good for them. Who knows how long that powerhouse will support them.

The people of ANB weren't much engaged in that incident so they suffered less or had no bloodbath but the same can't be said to the mafia gangs. An inevitable fight was on the way; the one who could stand till the end will be the winner. It was a test of patience, power, leadership and the ability of creating havoc as well as pacifying it. Those with muscle as well as brain could only win.

Different gangs who stood on the opposition or were directly/indirectly related to the car incident of Neil and lord of Grasal mafia (the old man) assigned their people to search for Neil.

The search went on for a whole day and next but Neil was nowhere to be found. He didn't show his presence nor did anything happen these days. It was as if Neil being alive was an illusion. No one knew where he was.

People thought he would show himself and claim the position of Lord, blood will spill, damage will be done and so on. But Neil didn't appear before them. They were happy for his disappearance and wished he would never show himself.

Within the mafia, there were also a few groups who were disappointed with the situation. They wanted Neil to appear and take the position of Lord but they were outnumbered so didn't dare to openly show their dissatisfaction. Even other gangs have pressured them to give up their thoughts. Some didn't agree openly as a result had to end their life.

Those peoples who always stood on the opposite sides and bickered, competed or even killed each other were united to destroy Neil. Interesting human nature, isn't it?

As Neil didn't show himself for two days, the opposition lowered their guard and continued with the fight for Lord position. Once again their unison divided. None was really a friend or foe without benefits.

The whole underworld was in disarray but the preceptor was currently seated at a corner of a hall trying to hide his presence. About twenty people were present and a young man was currently brainwashing and encouraging them to fight against those who stood on the opposite side of Neil's side.

The young man was none other than Vik, Arik's subordinate who was sent to find the loyal members of the godfather together with the commander of the rescue team.

None in the room knew who he was beside Vik. His silver hair was covered with black wig. He has a silver colored glass which hides his eyes from outsiders.

None could find him as Neil because he had taken off his mask and stayed in disguise. He was running all over the underworld but was unnoticed.

The mafia were located at the western part of Grasal city whereas Shikhar's base was on the eastern. The western side has a linkage with the ocean and has a great advantage. The government as well as businessmen were interested to develop that land but couldn't vacant it being the underworld base. The accident was a result of their greed.

Those people present in the room were supporters of the old man and had high authority in the mafia before. But currently, the opposition snatched their power and were trying to step on them to crush their confidence. In such circumstances, Vik had arrived and acted as their leader.

During this period Vik and Noah had gathered some groups, individuals who stood on the same side as Neil's father. Even the opposition hadn't noticed that those people were disappeared one by one from several places. Either those bastards were ignorant or Arik men were smart; more likely to be the second case.

The fight to gain the position of Lord was like a war where Vik was the general and Arik was the king. The only difference was that the citizen and warrior don't know who their actual king is.

After Shikar dropped Arik, he directly went to the mafias lair and contacted his subordinate. Even Vik and Noah were surprised with the news of Neil being present at the ANB Corps banquet. As they were not in the position to question, they stayed silent.

Arik was gathering people and information. He let those loyal people be trained under Vik. Declaring a war or showing his presence will lead to a fatal death; he knew it well so he was acting in secret. His plan wasn't to dirty his hand but make those bastards suffer in silence and get control of them.

It wasn't easy but not impossible. Due to lack of rest his brain was tired too which resulted him to be bloodthirsty. Shikhar had given him some medicine but it wasn't working well. He was frustrated by his own situation.

Anyways, he pulled himself to fight against all odds and implement his plan. The plan wasn't to declare war but to…do something interesting.
