The Half-Blood Wizard: Thief Of Time

“Run!” The cry was followed by the appearance of a small sand vortex beside me. I knew that it was the Manjis. I wanted to follow their words, but my legs seemed to freeze on the spot. “Tha, Run!!” This time, they shouted at me. However, just like before, my legs were unable to move. I asked myself what was going on right now, but I couldn't find the answer. I gasped again when the strains of the song sounded from my cell phone. An incoming call. 'Tha, where are you?' Mala's voice sounded so panicked. “In front of a shop. I was asked by my friend to take her to buy paper” My words were dumbfounded and reflected confusion.  'Run out of that place!’ Mala screamed from the other end. 'Fast!' Both asked me to leave this place immediately.  Hastily I took my bicycle and pedaled quickly. Just a few strokes away from the building, I looked back and found one of Manji standing in front of the shop, a bow in his hand. A clump of sand flew low beside me, who was pedaling my bicycle. The sand slowly formed a dove which then flew ahead of me. The Manjis seemed to be asking me to follow the dove. Now, this place was like a maze. I still remember when we came down from the main road earlier, we only had to go into the alley and walk straight until we arrived. However, right now, even until eight o'clock at night, I couldn't get out of this place yet. Dark and tired, I forced myself to continue pedaling my bicycle, following the dove that was now slowly glowing in flames, helping me a little to see in the dark.  ... "Forty years ago, there was a mass death of half-blood people. Those who initially looked healthy in the morning suddenly died in the afternoon. Even the best healing wizard abilities are incapable of healing them, as their spells simply do not work against what they are. Today, the creature is in the border forest of the village where I live, " I said. The surprised expression couldn't hide Azalea, and I saw it. "How did you know that?!"I gasped when he asked in a raised tone. "I won't tell you."I looked at the pair of eyes now looking at me intently, which were always able to give off an aura of intimidation. "I came here because I feared the same thing would happen again. I don't know where to go because I'm a half-blood. There are so many bad things that could happen to me if it were to happen again." Some time passed with silence. Azalea and I looked at each other with our minds until I finally decided to leave the room, but she forbade me. "I'll ask you again, who told you this?!"Azalea seems very angry. Maybe this is why Antonie forbade me to tell the truth because he knew that the woman would be this angry. "Sorry, I can't tell you."I showed an expression of regret. "He was the one who saved me so that I can be here now." "Antonie?!"I was just silent when Azalea mentioned that name. "Am I right?!" under his piercing gaze, I seemed hypnotized and nodded my head. "Only he knows that none of the Wizards are capable of healing them," I thought. I would find another rage, which Azalea would show after hearing that Antonie was still alive, even though that man had also helped me come to this place. However, I was wrong. I just saw the woman's expression. "So you're here to run?." ____________________________ *** Follow My Book Dear ^^ *** Tale Of The Half-Blood Wizard Stealing The Wife's First Kiss Once A CEO Wife ____________________________ ************************ Updates every day at (GMT+8) 07.00 AM ************************ #Meet me on instragram: bluehadyan #Discord : bluehadyan#7481

17. Be selfish, Tha

I imagined a small room where I used to rest as well as my training ground. As I slowly opened the door, I saw my bed and the small table beside it were empty. Moving to the wall, my eyes found the iron bow and shield, including some books still scattered on the bed, as if they remained untouched.

And, when I turned around, I found nothing behind me, only my bathroom—in the room I occupied during my alpha camp—which was dark and also the sound of dripping water. Antonie seemed to have just left, disappeared like a gust of wind, leaving all the suitcases beside me with Mickey.

I came out of the room and found Azalea's bodyguard walking down the hall, right in front of my room. He looked surprised at my presence. I greeted him briefly as if I didn't suddenly appear directly in front of him. Then, I continued my steps to look for Azalea.

Mickey who was walking behind me suddenly said "He will be gone for a while, he will be back soon."

I didn't know who he was referring to, so I asked, "Who?"

"Who else, Antonie of course," said Mickey, to which I gave a grunt in return as a sign that I understood.

I also met Yoru. He looked so shocked that the cake he was about to eat fell. "Hello?!," I greeted, then I grimaced when I glanced at the food that was now lying woefully on the floor.

For a moment, Yoru was still looking at me with a surprised look. Until some time later, after realizing it, he looked for the cake that had fallen. He squealed in annoyance when he found the cake fell on the floor and could not be eaten anymore. "You, why are you here?" He asked with a confused expression. Picked up the cake and threw it in the trash.

"I've asked Azalea's permission to stay here for a while," I said as naturally as possible, though I'm sure he would know I was lying. Yoru was the hardest person to lie to.

"So sudden?!" He looked at me suspiciously. "Do you really just want to stay here?!" I nodded with a smile, hoping he would believe me. "Okay." I secretly breathed a sigh of relief. "Don't make a fuss and stay away from the other noise-making creatures here" I just smirked, knowing it meant Shashin.

I intended to meet Azalea or anyone who might be able to take me to her. When I just started walking again, I heard the faint strains of the music box. I know who he was.

I stepped towards the source of the sound, and there, I saw Shashin sitting while enjoying his meal with the music box beside him. He looked so cheerful like a child, eating his lunch with several other bodyguards.

"Hi?!" My voice interrupted them. Shashin instantly looked at me with his mouth full. The next second, he choked, then immediately took the water beside him. I laughed at him until my stomach hurt.

"Watch out, don't swallow the bowl too!" I joked as I pulled up the empty chair beside him and sat down. "Yo, how are you, bro?" Shashin just kept quiet and looked at me like he was staring at a ghost, as well as the other guards.

I cleared my throat to wake them up, until one of the guards said, "Miss didn't tell me that you were coming today." I just smiled amused at his words.

"You? Why are you here?" Shashin asked, still with a shocked expression. "I didn't know you would come today" he looked at me intently, as if I was a strange human he had never seen before.

I smiled, showing a row of my teeth. "Isn't it great?!" I said arrogantly.

Azalea was already aware of my coming without me searching for her. She already found me easily. That woman gestured to me to follow her to her room and I quickly walked behind her after saying goodbye to Shashin and his friends.

In her room, I was directly faced with her investigation. She addressed a lot of questions, such as how I could come to her place, what made me change my mind to come and stay in Alpha Camp, and also why I made such a sudden decision, and so on.

"Summer has been perfected." I put down a leaf from a pair of camellias. There was such mixed emotion in me, either sad or happy that she was finally brought to the spirit realm. The leaf belonged to Summer. When it was falling, that would mean she was perfected.

"The keeper of the tree of life gave me camellia flowers each, and they turned out to be the emerald eyeballs, the eyeballs that Summer wanted so badly. I gave that to them before Charon took her away" I had never seen that spirit be overjoyed the nights before. Although her body was just black smoke, I could see and feel that when I handed her the eyes she badly wanted, she was so happy.

"Your mission has been accomplished," Azalea threw a pouch of gold coins to me.

It was the first time I had such a feeling, of letting go of someone like Summer. I remembered very well our struggles to help her, and also the days we spent with her until last night. She looked so happy when I handed her a pair of those eyeballs. She just wanted to look perfect apart from her being outstandingly beautiful without her awareness.

"I did admire her beauty. In my opinion, Summer was the most beautiful creature I have ever seen." I squeezed the pouch of those gold coins. If only I could bring her back into life with that body, if only she had not listened to the words of her boyfriend. "I feel like I wanted to kill such a jerk playboy!" I growled in a low voice.

For a moment Azalea's expression was perplexed. "Now tell me, what is your real purpose for staying here in such a sudden time?!" She narrowed her eyes, suspicious, or she was trying to intimidate me. "I have asked you so many times to stay here before now, and you kept rejecting me. But now you come here out of the blue. Is there anything you are hiding from me?!" She cornered me.
