New magic?
I got the messed up timeline and did the fated fight between the 2 characters in the capital, wink wink, so please forgive me. the pacing needs to be fixed

opening a portal to his quarters, Zakai moaned laying down on his bed
"So many things I need to do." Zakai thought, reaching his hands up to the sky
hearing screams coming from the courtyard outside, Zakai looked to see who it was and gave a sigh
"Of course," Zakai muttered, watching a woman beat down all of the crimson lion squad
it was Fuegeleon's replacement, his older sister, Mereoleona Vermillon, the "Uncrowned undefeated Lioness"
hiding his presence and walking into his room, Zakai sat down on his bed, before teleporting to the libabry
He had plans to make eiden a paradise, due to the fact he couldn't destroy it unless he killed that girl, which would be a pain in the ass
well, there's Satry's and Nymphs', but they live undersees. then there are spirits, mermaids, fairy's among other fairy tales, although non of them are confirmed to exist except for the ones Zakai had meet
there seemed to be an event soon, called the "Royal knight selection", basically, there doing a raid on the suspected base of the eye of the midnight sun
he was interested since he would show up anyway if they liked it or not, so Zakai was about to fall asleep

Waking up the next day , Zakai found a note slipped through the crack of his door

"It's a trap," Zakai said
"So what are you going to do?"

"Knowing that she will probably be killed on sight? and you trapped in whatever method they use?"
"I have high versatility with my magic." Zakai muttered, "If there's anybody that's -going to escape from their tricks, it's me."
"Oh? is that arrogance or the real truth?" The dryad muttered
"Figure it out yourself." Zakai walked into a portal, before finding himself outside a cave
12 mana signals, 6 hidden and 5 surrounding another mana signal which was probably veronica if he guessed
"I haven't done a situation like this before." Zakai muttered, "How should I kill them all in a certain timeframe?"
"The best option is to go in, put your hands up, and maybe getting that spirit dog to jump and grab veronica with its mouth, and then you go and kill them."
"Actually, I've got a better idea," Zakai muttered , as he slowly walked into the cave
figures flashed before, me, each holding a light so I could see in the dark cave
"Come." They said as they forced me deeper into the cave
what he saw was veronica tied up on the floor, cuts and bruises around her face
A man was standing next to Veronica, licking his lips
"I'll enjoy you later."
Zakai coldly muttered
"Fenrir."
A spatial portal erupted behind the man, causing a large dog with a tag in its mouth to jump out of the portal
within seconds, Zakai teleported to the tag that Fenrir had put on the floor and muttered
"[Blessed gem magic: Theia's sphere]"
A large ball of powerful amethyst infused rock with water inside enveloped the unconscious Veronica as he charged towards the man near Veronica
the 6 mages behind him were shooting spells at him, but Zakai quickly grabbed the man ear him and used his as a meatshield as he rushed at the 6 mages at the entrance
a hand to hand combat was initiated with a man at the lead, as Zakai twisted his arm backwards and used the man's body once more as a meatshield, making a throwing knife and throwing it at another man, who fell towards it

A large amount of poisonous mist was projected and then Zakai watched as the mist turned into a snake, shooting at him
easily sidestepping it, Zakai quickly rushed to the last 3, shooting wind blades that tore off the arm of one

Wind enveloped one of them, which Zakai realised was their leader.
Gale magic was a better version of wind magic, being comparable to lightning magic in its speed.
lightning magic was more... precise, whereas Galeful magic was messier but better at dealing with a large group of mages
still, no problem of Zakai however, as he made a shield using blessed gem magic, before
"[Paper magic ]"
Paper blades shot, instantly beheading the man
"Please...please...don't..kill me! I've got a wife and kid-"
A head rolled
"Please, my sister needs medicine-"
Another head rolled
after collecting the grimoires, he threw them to Laplace and reviewed them
"Hmm, poison gas magic, gale magic and drawing magic?"
No wonder there were singular pieces of paper with weird drawings on them
the rests were your average fire water and wind magic, blah, blah, blah.
absorbing the grimoires one by one , Zakai was knocked down to the floor, as a tiny bit of blood came out of his mouth
"Your soul." The dryad was muttering "Is splitting,... and then healing. how peculiar."
"WOW, THANKS FOR TELLING ME NOW!" Zakai curled over and puked
looking at the new magic he gained, he widened his eyes
