FIFTY TWO

When we arrive at the HA, it was empty, only Joel was their waiting for us in the teleportation door, all geared up. I ask Chairman for him to stay because I will be needing Joel in another task. I gave Joel a key before he go through the teleportation door travelling to the isolated island, and after we step in too, to go to where the ongoing war is.

While we were travelling earlier to the HA, I already discussed the plan to the others once I arrive on the location of the gate. I especially instructed Chairman David, Evienne the twins on the island, Joel and Daya because they will play a key part on what we are about to do.

Chairman David is very influential in the higher ups of the HA, being the only S-Class Hunter who chooses to be a part of it, so I gave him the task of gathering all defensive mages in there and gave them a spell that they will be casting later upon my arrival.

I order the twins on the island and Joel, to activated the islands defensive system, they did not question why because I already told them before what it is for specifically when we were making it. The isolated island was already gifted to me by the government it was a part of and the HA so I can do whatever I want to do in it already.

I ask Evienne to boost me up, and the defensive mages when were about to do the casting. I also ask her to help me protect my mana core. While, Daya will be helping me out on doing the phase one of the plan on defeating the Labyrinth, relocation.

We will be relocating the gate to the isolated island to minimize the overall damage it can do. I, Joel and the twins already created massive weapons that can help defeat monsters in the labyrinth, using the past knowledge, I and Daya have. The relocation of the hunters wil be easy for Daya to do on her own, but I will still be helping her out because I know she is still recovering too. Its the labyrinth gate that will be a dificult one, thats why I will be needing Evienne's boost and protection of my mana core and the defensive mages, grand barrier to keep the monsters and the miasma inside that barrier only to make it a bit more easy to relocate and I can focus all my energy in that area.

Upon arrival to the location of the labyrith gate, I am already wearing my disguise, Mr. Light, Daya was shocked to see my old appearance in the other dimension.

"What's with all this getup? Why are you using your old self?"-Daya.

"Not everyone knows who I really am only a few people, this is my disguise and I want to remain as anonymous as possible until the right time to reveal the truth about all this"-Demetri.

"Wait, I want a disguise too"- Daya

"They already know what you really look like, even your true form, besides why hide a beautiful face"-Demetri.

"I know I have a beautiful face, but still, this disguise thing is kind of cool"-Daya.

The monsters are keep on crawling out of the gate, but the hunters are doing their best on fighting back. The battle was fierce and a few hunters were already down and wounded.

I observe each one of the monsters and something is definitely off with them, each one of the monsters are a result of necromancy, all of this monsters were the previous ones we already defeated before thats why instead of bleeding, they turn into red ashes instead after killing.

"Is it just me or this Labyrinth monsters already dead? Is it the previous ones we fought before? I even recognize some of the battle wounds I mark myself"-Daya.

"You are not wrong, those monsters were result of necromancy, the darkness is getting its powers back, to be able to resurrect by necromancy this level, it's definitely getting stronger"-Demetri.

"I just got scared, its okay for me to be scared right"-Daya.

Daya said with a nervous laugh, I held her hand and help her calm down. We saw not far from us Chairman David, Evienne and the seers, on battle armor, running towards us.

"Is everything in place Chairman David?"-Demetri.

"Yes, everythings ready, just waiting for your orders to commence"-Chairman David.

"Okay, thank you Chairman, proceed to your places, Daya, Kalesi go to your position also, you know what to do right"-Demetri

"Yes, just leave it to me"-Daya

Daya transforms to her original form and sprinted all the way to the back while I and Evienne elevated ourselves above everybody. Eveinne casted a huge magic circle over the whole place, placing protection on everybody. I ask her if she's okay, because this is a huge magic circle to cast and she said she is okay, not her first time to do the this kind of casting.

"Hunters!"-Demetri.

I said using all tounge so that everybody will hear me in their native languages.

"I am Light, I know some of you already knows who I am, some of you might not, but for today's battle I will be your chief-of-operation in defeating the Labyrinth, I know your respective HA chairmans already explain to you what is about to happen, what you all need to do, some of you might doubt it but in order for this to be a success, coorperation is all we are asking, this is the biggest battle you are all about to face yet, it will not be easy, some might get hurt or worst but if we all put are all in this, I know we can win this"-Demetri.

I can hear some of the hunters cheering below making me assured that my speech works on some of them. I shouted for the defense mages that were surrounding the gates, each one with a hunter or two to defend them while chanting the spell for the grand barrier.

When I signalled them to commence, everyone started chanting the spell, a huge magic circle appeared under the gate and bit by bit the grand barrier surrounded the Labyrinth, making the monsters and miasma trap inside, making the hunters on the defense feel relief and catch their breath.

I did my own grand barrier casting to put a second barrier to double its effectiveness. A few defensive mages collapse due to mana exhaustion even before the successfully casted the barrier but in the end, we all succeeded.

I absorb the remaining miasma in the air and transform it into consumable mana that I share to Evienne and Daya because our job is not done yet.
