1. Path for the future

[This is a planet which is full of life. In this planet lush green mountains, forests, rivers and different types of animals can be seen. Human is the most intelligent species on this planet. Human beings are able to control and use magical energy and they use magic from their daily life to other important things as well. Here magic is important for the people, but 15 years ago some alien civilization taught the people of this world to create technology, technical equipment, weapons and other things and now in this world some people want to learn magic and some people want to learn about technology and some about both.]

On this planet deep inside the mountains there is a house and there are two persons one is a 16 years old boy and another is a woman around the age of 40 years.

The boy's hair is of light brown color, which looks black from a distance, the light red glow in his hair can be seen in the sunlight. The color of his eyes is blue like a lake and his length is 6.1 feet. He is wearing a black jacket and inside the jacket is a red shirt showing a white bird and a red heart. He is wearing gloves in both of his hands and, in black colored jeans, the boy is looking very attractive. His name is Aaron.

The woman looks younger than her age. The hair of that woman is of black color which is very smooth to look at. Her eyes are as black as the night sky and she is a little taller than that boy, about 6.2 feet. she is wearing a necklace around her neck which was made of gold and silver, and the ring finger of her hand has a ring with a red diamond on it. She is wearing a white colored shirt which had some flower designs on it and she is wearing a white colored jean with red stripes on it. Her name is Alena.

"Father was really such a great magician? and if he was, then where is he now?" The boy asked his mother. The boy had many questions in his eyes and he wanted to know about all of them from his mother.

His mother looked at him and replied, "yes it is true that your father was a great magician, Aaron. And where is he that is something that even I do not know myself. He left almost shortly after your birth and no one knows where he went but one thing that I know that your father is still alive."

"Mother, if father went somewhere, that too suddenly, have you never tried to find him?"

"I ask some of my friends to find him, son but they could never find him and at that time I had to take care of you too." She replied with a sad smile.

Aaron saw the sad smile on her face and he changed the topic and asked, " mom in your time only magic is the only thing that existed so you and father both heve learn magic but now I have two options what should I choose, Science or Magic?

She knew that his son was trying to change the topic because of her sad smile so she replied "I and your father both chose magic but in magic there are many types of magic like, Summoning magic elemental megic, Shadow megic etc."

She took a small pause and than she starts again and Said "I choose elemental megic in which you can learn about, fire megic, water megic, wind megic, earth megic etc but I only learn about fire, water and wind megic because after these I don't have time left for others"

Aaron locked at her mother and asked," what about Father? Which types of megic he choose"

"Hmm your father choose elemental megic and he learn and mastered all kind of megic in it but he also learn Shadows megic that is the reason we call him a great magician."

Than She Said, "about you. You can become whatever you want to be. You can become a magician of you. can choose Science or may be you can decide Something more interesting but remember one thing Whatever you choose you have to work hard to get better in that field"

"So even if I choose magic, I have to choose a different type of magic. Hmm than I have to choose wisely because I also want to be like you and father." He said with a thoughtful look.

His mother Smiled at him and said, "Don't worry just do your best in whatever you choose, I am sure you will be a better magician than us."

"Don't you worry mom I'll do my best and I'll become a great magician and also I will try to find my father. I hope I will find him soon and then our family will be Complete."

"Ok you try to find him but first you have to become strong So that you can face troubles that will come along with your journey. Well first thing first tomorrow is your birthday and you will complete 16 years of your life and after that you have to choose your own path."

"What do you mean mom I didn't understand." Aaron asked with a confusing look.

"Ok let me explain. Before you start you journey of your life you have to ways. First you can take admission in a good university where you will get many teachers who will guide you and they will teach you about different subject. If you choose the first path, you will have a good start and it will be easier for you to understand things."

"Than what is the second option." Aaron asked out of curiosity

"The second option is that you have to learn by yourself and from the world. Take experience from traveling so that you can face the real problems with this option your start may be get slow but you will become more tolerant and mature than the students of the university and at the same time you will be able to learn new things which you can't learn in University." She replied

You and father also chose the same path, Didn't you? so did you like this path and according to you is it the right way for me?" He asked and waited for the answer.

"lots questions, than yes we had chosen the same path and yes we liked this path very much. After all why don't we like this path, your father and I met in this journey and we faced the problems together and if this path is right for you, then the answer is yes, if you are not afraid of troubles, have the courage to face dangers, then this path is right for you. Anyway, I have prepared you for both the paths since childhood, but still, if you choose the other way, then you have to be careful because this option is full of dangers. Keeping all these things in mind, take your decision and whatever you choose, take care of yourself again and again on that journey. Now that I have completed my work, it is evening anyway, it is time to eat."

"Alright mother, I will take care of all these things" he replied with a smile.

And then his mother went out for her daily work. Aaron was sitting there thinking about what his mother told him.

"So what should I do now should I take admission in university or should I start my journey but before that I have to choose either magic or science, if I choose both, will I have enough time to do both? can I pay attention to both? My mother is a magician and I understand magic very well so if I choose magic then things will be easy for me. OK then I will choose magic"

Aaron was sitting there thinking all this when suddenly a thought came in his mind.

"If I take admission in university, then I have to stay there and if this happens then I will not be able to find my father. no! I have to start my own journey but first I have to get ready and also to find my father first I have to find out where should I start."

Aaron got up from his place and he looked at the trees and the sky, then he closed his eyes and started taking deep breaths, after some time when he opened his eyes, he felt calm now.

"Aaron food is ready to eat, come soon" his mother called to him.

"ok mom" he replied.

They both ate dinner, and after talking for some more time, Aaron went to his room to sleep.

"Tomorrow is my birthday, then I have to go on my journey. I hope I can find you father." he thaught to himself and than after some time he fell asleep.
