STRENGTH OF A MEGAHUMAN

"Krad are you okay?!"Wendy shouted as she and Hellen dashed to Krad's side.He had fell with a thud on the floor,and was convulsing in pain and screaming wildly."His energy is fading!"Hellen remarked in shock after touching Krad.She was experienced when it came to sensing foreign energies.

At the moment, Hellen was confused a lot because Krad's current energy was dying,while another different one was building up inside him.It was nothing that she had ever sensed before.Krad was screaming at the top of his lungs as he felt like every bone inside him was being broken and disjointed and then fixed,then broken then fixed.This continuous torture was too much.

He had never expected to evolve so soon.At times,he had heard of people having a breakthrough in their powers,like Hellen and Wendy will have to some day if they continue absorbing crystals.Making them strong,but this was different.Breakthrough only happens to someone's powers and was rare that the person would get hurt.An evolution, according to how much pain he was going through right now,he knew that this was not only affecting his powers but his body as well.

"AAAAAAAAAHH..."He continued screaming as he couldn't bare the pain.He was unable to move his body on his will,as it was like his body was moving on its own.Hellen and Wendy could clearly hear the sound of breaking of bones from Krad which made them worry even more.Blood was filling his mouth making it hard for him to speak or even scream the way he wanted to as he turned and was able to spit it out.

"What can we do"Wendy asked seemingly worried."I don't know."Hellen replied."I have never seen anything like this.Let's just hope nothing bad happens to him."This did not make Wendy relax even a bit.She quickly looked at Krad as she held him and turned his face towards her.

As if she had seen a ghost,she let go of him and jumped backwards falling on her back and immediately got back up."His—His...eyes..."She couldn't talk.And that's when Hellen noticed it too and she also moved away.Krad's eyes had no white in them but just purple.His veins were visible all over his face and neck.Even more shocking,his appearance was starting to change.

His short blue hair was now growing longer at a first rate.But not just that,some of the strands had turned from blue to purple, giving him a mixture of blue and purple.After some time of rolling himself all over the floor,Krad had relaxed as the pain vanished.He lay on the surface facing the ceiling of the house.Sweat was still running out of him.

"Krad are you alright!"Wendy came rushing in helping him to stand up.He was still to recover in his energy department.Looking closer,the two girls noted that his eyes had returned to normal,but the blue that used to be there,was now purple.But one thing stood out the most,he was slightly more taller than before and he looked a little old for his age.His hair was now at the reach of his shoulder blade.

They decided to let Krad have a rest for now and they would bring up the matter tomorrow morning. On his bed, Krad was very confused.He could feel everything on him has improved,his vision,his sense of smell and sound.He felt stronger and faster than before.And one thing made him even to pinch himself.His skin was hard.Well not quite that hard,but harder than it was.This was never heard of from a normal human.This made him question himself more, what's a megahuman?

"What am I?What is even a megahuman?"He asked himself questions that he had no answers for. Before sleeping,he checked on the explanations of his four new skills and had a smile on his face. Anyway,he needed to rest and prepare for the 'interrogation' from the girls tomorrow.

"So you are saying that you found a book in the principal's office and when you touched it you received a...what is it called again...a system?"Wendy tried to reassure what Krad had just told them. Krad felt like the night was sped up as it was already morning."Yes.And that's why I may seem quite unique."He tried to parry away the tension.

"And did you just say that...you received it from a...god?"Hellen asked."Yes, that's what it stated.And if you have questions on what had happened to me last night, don't mind asking because am as confused as you are."Krad replied."But there was quite a difference when that... evolution was complete,not just to my hair,but to my capabilities.Am stronger than before."

The girls were finding it hard to take in what they've heard.But that's when Wendy grimaced clearly annoyed."And why didn't you tell us before? Don't even mind us,why didn't you tell me?"She asked."Well you didn't ask?"Krad replied."In fact,there wasn't any harm if I were to keep it a secret.Am sure each one of us here has some share of secrets that we wouldn't want to share even to our closest friends."This had clearly made the girls to flinch a bit.It was true,they all had secrets.Secrets that they were even scared of sharing to others,so they had no right to judge Krad in any way.

"So,you being a megahuman means that you're not human any more?"Hellen asked.

"I sincerely don't know."Krad replied with a concerned look on his face.

They did their usual routine and we're off to hunt more beasts.They were all eager to see what Krad could now do.Would he be able to take on an advanced tier alone,or even an alpha tier?That was something they were intrigued at.They had changed their hunting area to the south,where they had met up with the advanced tier squirrel beast.

"I can hear something coming."Krad said as he had suddenly stopped on his tracks and readied his hands preparing for something.'He was able to hear it before I could? Maybe this person is really going to surpass all the races in terms of capabilities.'Hellen thought as she also prepared.Of course Wendy could also hear it too since she was now a vampire,and also vampires not only had their five senses improved,but also had this crazy strength and speed with them.

After waiting for a while,while looking towards a thick large bush,the sounds of steps had stopped.It became so quiet that they were now getting even more cautious.They felt like there was a beast watching them."Oh for heaven's sake would you just show up—!"Wendy had shouted and at that moment,a powerful gust of wind disrupted the bush and had hit all of them.

They were hit so bad that they were slightly pushed backwards."What was that?"Hellen blurted out.From the bush that now had a huge hole through it,a beast walked out and came to their view. It looked quite awkward and weird,as it had wings the size of its horse-like body size,had a single horn on its head and then the rest of its body looked like that of a bug with green snake scales on it.It had a total of six jointed limbs.

Just by the look of it,they knew this was an advanced tier beast."Guys,stay out of this,I may like to test what I can do."Krad said and the two had complied.The creature looked surprised by this,and looked a bit disappointed as it went to turn its back and leave."Bad idea!"Krad shouted as he released a water cannon heading straight for the beast's wings.After evolving,his magic powers had improved,and he could see it now.The water cannon was twice as powerful and fast than before.

The attack had hit one of its wings making a large hole through it as the water cannon continued travelling further into the forest before disappearing.The beast screamed in pain as it turned and then opened its mouth towards Krad.Another gust of wind was sent at him and he knew this was a strong attack.Not having enough time to react,he activated one of his new skills,*wind vortex*.

Suddenly a strong vortex of wind was spiralling infront of him and had absorbed the beast's attack becoming even bigger,but not as tall as the trees were.Controling it,he sent it towards the beast and it went forward with an amazing speed.The beast was being slashed on its body by the vortex as if it was a vortex made of blades.After some time it disappeared,and just at that moment Krad was infront of the beast and had delivered a powerful blow on its head sending it a few metres back.

As the beast stood up covered with black blood,it was prepared to attack again,but just then."Boom!"A loud explosion went off and the creature fell down, without its head.What Krad had just done after the vortex disappeared was activating his other skill,water blast.Due to its conditions,it required him to make a direct contact with the beast to transfer his water from his water powers into the beast's head,and just by that,the water exploded destroying the beast's head.
