A NEW PRINCIPAL

Holding tight and keeping his balance,Krad stood on a very thin frame that sticked out from the wall.The powerful wind made him feel like he would fall off from the wall to the ground.The height was quite so high,that he knew if he dared jump,he won't have to reach the surface to die.

His heart was beating so had and fast that he felt like it was slightly pushing him off.The reason as to why Krad was hiding even though he was related to the principal,was because Druid had kept their relationship a secret.No one from the school knew about it.And if he were to be caught now, surely he could think of the consequences.

He was standing on top of the window's thin head,above it.The metal grills had broken out together with the glass panels.He carefully bent and held on the window's head then swung himself inside falling.He was listening to the people speaking and knew the were gone.

He stood and looked around.The room was dark,the magic balls that were used as a source of light in this room had disappeared.Krad knew what the pointy hat could after seeing Druid use it a few times while training or fighting.So he had an idea on how to get out of this place.He wore the hat on his head,and then wore the round glasses.He had never know that the glasses had their own attributes.Because now,he was able to see through the dark room as if it was day.Wearing the hat, something unexpected happened.

He did not know how to operate this system.If he can't even touch it, how was he supposed to use it?Well,he did know what skill it was stating about."Yes of course!"He thought.To his surprise,the screen vanished after that.His guess was correct,when he lifted his hands infront of his face,he realised that he had no hands,more precisely,he was now invisible.Not even the hat or glasses could be seen.

Wasting no time,he opened the door and ran as fast as he could downstairs and left the building.He ran until he was in the east side building,where his sleeping room was supposed to be.He knew he can't use the teleportation gadget to get on the first year students' floor, because it was being controlled by the door keeper and he suspected that the word of an intruder had already been spread,he also can't use the elevator due to this.With no other choice he ran upstairs.Invisible sweat was dripping out of him and when it left his skin,it would become visible.

It took him almost a whole hour to get there.He skimmed the floor and found the room,and on its door was number seven.He took out a small cardboard and placed it on the floor letting go of it so that he could see.It had the number seven on it too.He took it back in his shredded pocket and went to the door.Slowly he opened it and found his roommate sleeping.He changed and hid the ruined clothes and wore his casual ones,then slept.

"ROOOAAR!!"The school morning timer woke everyone up and the students prepared for another day of learning magic.Luckily for Krad,he had another pair of uniform. Outside the classroom, Wendy patiently stood there waiting."When will he come?"She thought to herself.Krad appeared and she was grateful that he showed up.She ran to him and greeted him with a smile but then it dropped when she noticed how Krad's face looked like.

"What happened to you?"She asked.Krad was a little nervous as he thought that he will have to explain to her everything that happened last night."About what?"He asked nervously."Your face is full of blotches,were you crying?You even look extremely tired."

"Me?Cry?no way."Krad was defending himself even though he knew he was defenseless due to the tear marks on his face."Yeah yeah I get it.You are trying to be a man by lying that you weren't crying.Then let me take care of those blotches for you.You wouldn't want to be the topic today." She took her wand from its quiver on her thigh,and then chanted some magic words.A stream of water flowed from the tip of her wand continuously like a snake heading for Krad's face.He did not resist as he allowed the stream to wash him.After that,the liquid disappeared and they entered the class.

The troll face was still there as it greeted the students and wished them good luck.Krad thought that maybe the troll was nice on early students but grumpy on the ones who were late, because when it noticed him,it gave a common smile and greeted both Wendy and him. While in class,Krad noticed that he was being stared at by the boys.They had seen the full scene of Wendy using her magic to wash Krad's face.

"Who does he think he is to receive that special treatment?"A hateful grudge was growing inside Davis Michael against Krad. Eugene,the head of the class walked in and all of the students inside kept quiet."Good morning students,today I won't be around."The class almost cheered."I'll be on a meeting with the Martian Government.So I'll leave you on the care of Wendy.She is not only strong,but also full of knowledge.She will be in control while am gone,and if any of you misbehaves, Davis will deal with you."

A smile was visible on Davis' face.He was glad that he was recognised.Eugene left,and Wendy stood up heading infront of the class with a smile on her face too.

Outside the school, inside a very large mansion that was based to the north of the Magic Academy,a meeting was taking place. Eugene had already got here using teleportation magic.The five leaders that were running Mars,and all the thirty tutors from the academy were present.

"Frank Bloodvessel,can you be having any information about Druid Sage's disappearance?"A masked man asked.All the five leaders had red masks on their heads covering them.There were two knights standing behind each leader.Their armour was different from those in the academy.Instead of grey,they were black.

"Sorry my Lord,I have not even a clue.But yesterday night there was an unknown intruder.Druid's office was messed.Am sure that person was looking for something.Who knows,maybe Druid had offended the intruder."Frank tried all his best to be on the good side of the leaders.

"I don't think so,"Eugene protested."I knew Druid as a very peaceful man.Even though he was strong,he chose not to take part in the war."There was silence from the leaders' side which worried the tutors more.

"You may be right,"One of the leaders said."But that doesn't matter,the school must run as normal.We are giving you all a week's time to put up a search patrol,and we'll provide you with great investigators to search for Druid Sage."

Another one continued,"After the week is over,am certain that we,the great five will appoint a new principal.So if anyone of you wishes to replace Druid Sage,please, you'll leave your name and identification for us after this,just incase we don't find Druid Sage.The meeting is dismissed."

The leaders left just like that.They hadn't stayed even for ten minutes longer, because on their own side,the leaders had their pressing matters that needed their attention.

One of the black knights was left behind.He pulled out a black smooth wand and a type of magic sheet appeared with a feather pen and an ink.All of the tutors scrambled trying to get their names listed.The all wanted to become the academy's next principal, except one.Eugene Limopik had his own worries.He did not feel right trying to replace Druid and yet the said person wasn't found...not even his body.He stood from his seat and left the other tutors behind.Frank was very angry seeing the large number that wants to compete with him.

A week had already passed,it wasn't even right to say that the tutors were serious on the search.They really didn't want to find Druid,and Eugene had noticed that.He had left Wendy and Davis incharge of the class for the whole week while he went to search for Druid even on the northern hemisphere part of Mars but was unsuccessful.

The leaders called in for another meeting.Scanning the large hall, Eugene saw the excitement from all the other tutors."Unbelievable,all of these tutors were appointed by Druid on their current positions,and now look at them.They are so excited to replace the same person who gave them their jobs.They don't even care what might have happened to him.And look at Frank,he doesn't even deserve to be working for Mars."He debated and complained in his thoughts.

The five leaders walked in and sat on their grand chairs."It seems like you were unsuccessful with your search."This time,a female's voice could be heard from one of the leaders.Hearing this,the arrogant tutors put up a fake worried look on their faces."Hypocrites!"Eugene cursed in his mind.

"Well then, we'll appoint a new principal today at this place."
