First Battle First Victory

Grey was fighting against a Vertality user , and he was suprise , not only by the way he was able to take out the two guys from before, but also by the way he was doing now against a Vertality user .

' was this how strong i used to be ?, or is it the effects of the crystal that was on my amulet ' Grey wondered ,But if he was to consider any of his options he would likey prefer the latter , as he could remember quite well that the amulet gave him some energy , maybe that was it , maybe this were the effects of the energy within him from the crystal.

Not only was he able to fight against this Vertality user , but also he was doing this with no fear , and he was even faring well , like he was far beyond his opponent.

His opponent on the other hand was already out of stamina , and his earth spikes attack were already slowing down ,. ' Am out of stamina , not only that am out of energy , but yet he looks fine ,this guy what the hell is he ,'

Grey's opponent seem conflicted as he looked at Grey . Grey was fine to say the least , he wasn't tired , wasn't sweating , and didn't seem to be out of stamina and he didn't look like he will be out of it anytime soon.

Grey then block the last of the remaning attack that came his way as his opponent was on his last legs , not that he was dieing , but just they couldn't continue the battle anymore , in a fight, the person who had the largest amount of stamina was always at the lead.

But having a large amount of stamina didn't forcefully mean that one would win the fight, since one would also need to know how to make good use of it, stamina in a battle was essential , and if one was to have good fighting skills then they might come out victorious in a fight .

But not only stamina counted for one to win a fight , strength , mental will and many more .But it was certain that Grey had two with him , which was stamina , and strength.

His opponent feeling weak suddenly fell to his knees , drops of sweat could be seen running down his face , as he was afraid of what might happen to him .

Grey slowly walked up to him , as he was thinking of what might be the best coure of action to take .

Soon Grey was in front of him opponent, his opponent looking up , fear could be be read in his eyes as he didn't know what might happen to him , he had already lost hope in talking his way out, non the less he could still do one thing .

" I accept my punishment" he then said raising his hands above the head ,a sing of surrender

Grey seeing this didn't really know what to do ,he didn't deem it right to fight some one who had surrender, now he had the power to do what he wanted of the guy, right now Grey could beat him , torture him , etc.

Normally he was supposed to be happy , he was finally going to take his revenge , even if it was only on a person , at the end every thing had a beginning, he was now going to make people have a test of what had been done to him a thousand times .

'his life is at my mercy ' Grey thought but , it didn't make him happy, he didn't even noticed it , but now it was clear , he couldn't do more harm to the person Infront of him , and at the same time he didn't know why.

' why , do i feel sad ' Grey asked himself as he looked at his enemy , For some reasons looking at him right now reminded Grey a little bit of him, a little bit of his past , where he had no power ,when felt so weak, memories of him being tortured, memories of him even begging.

' Is this what they feel? is this how one is supposed to feel when they are in such a situation?' Grey asked himself as he tried to think of the scenario in his head , then suddenly memories flashed before his eyes, memories of him being tortured by his fellow mates , memories of him being used as a punching bag.

At that time, he had a dream , he wanted to get power and bring back the long lost justice , But if he wasn't able to forgive the individual Infront of him how would he archive the goal.

Grey thought wisely .

The individual Infront of Grey was being more more scared of what might happen to him , the fact that his punishment took such time made him fear a little ,he opened his his eyes to look .

As soon as his eyes were open , what he could see was was the back of his opponent , and then he heard the next sentence.

"get away from here , i don't what to see you anymore , and take your friends with you"

Grey said looking in the past opposite direction .

The other wasn't even expecting such a thing, it came as a complet suprise to him. In front of him was a person he had harm and even torture , mean while the person did him no harm in the first place .

If it was a different person , like someone else , and they had the power to get revenge , they would not even hesitate to do so , but here was a person with the power to do so but the person was freely letting him go .

The spiky hair guy felt guilty , something that he didn't even think he could one day feel , but right now he was feeling it , he felt guilty for have trying to harm such a person ,in the first place.

"We .. . . .we are sorry for this " these were the words that left his mouth ,

he had to swallow his pride , as he said it . and with the remaining energy he had , he went on to carry his friends and he went out of the cave.

As a Vertality user , the weight of his friends was not a problem for him as he carried them with ease and ventured into the dark of the night.

Grey stood still alone in the cave , 'look's like i lost the quest'

He thought and that moment he had a system notification.
