At first, it wasn't a big deal; all my enemies were in front of me trying to defend their position, so getting rid of them was extremely easy. All I really felt the need to do was extend my arm in their general direction, and they would flee away like the rats they are.

But now, they have become annoying to deal with; they stopped defending their posts; they have been emptying them, leaving only abandoned ruins behind them; and they have repositioned themselves far away in order to keep attacking me from a distance I can't reach.

There were some individuals of questionable intelligence who tried to attack me from up close, but they all ended up dead before they could even notice my attack. Since most of my enemies were attacking me from a great distance, I decided to order the black sludge to solidify and create a large barrier made out of scales.
