Uncle Nolan stuck around for a few days to help Major and me. He got a phone call from Aunt Brook, raised hell, having to deal with Beau and Brody. Yep, Uncle Nolan would catch hell when he got home. It sucked to be him.

I got ready for my date with Major, which I was still unsure about with him. Fool me once—shame on you. Fool me twice. Well, you’re a tool because there is no fooling me twice. I’m a Gray, not an idiot.

I finished up and came downstairs to find Major waiting for me. So, I walked over to Major.

/"Ready?/"

I nodded as we left.

Since the weather was still decent, we walked to a local diner. We walked in and took a seat at a booth. A server came over and took our orders, then left.

/"I’m happy you agreed to go out with me. But, Luna, I know I screwed up. I swear I’ll make things right this time./"
