Amelia

She had a wooden shield on her back .. a steel sword with a faint golden hilt in its sheath .. leather armour and short blades .. he looked at her for a moment and snapped back .. "You're an explorer" he suddenly said sitting down on the edge of the spring .. "Yes .. but I'm only a beginner" she sighed but showed a smile "Are you an explorer as well?" she sat beside him "Yes..?" she smiled and grabbed his sleeves "What rank are you" he didn't say anything and took out his golden medallion .. when the girl saw this her eyes were shining in disbelief and her jaw dropped "How old are you ..?" she kept looking at the medallion without averting her gaze away from it "I'm 14" if he was honest maybe people would admire him of his achievements "No way I'm 14 too yet I'm still a beginner .." she released a deep sigh before looking at him as her shine in her eyes returned "Did you steal this ..?" a weird smirk appeared on her face as she moved closer to him "No .. it was my achievement as an old explorer of The Nania association .." the girl now hopped back and showed him widened eyes "T .. The Na .. Nania ..?" she swallowed hard as she heard him mention the guild he was in .. he nodded and put his medallion back into his pocket.

The girl now didn't have a doubt that he was the owner of the medalion because The Nania Association had the best students a guild master could ask for and right infront of her she had found a Nania descendant .. "I'm Amelia .. I'm from a guild called the Golden Pegasus" she held out her hand for a handshake .. he accepted the handshake and introduced himself "Aethelu" when she heard the name her cheeks reddened ..

She started getting on about her daily life and how she joined the guild and why ..and so far it has been 3 years since she had been recruited but still she couldn't rise up "If you think a golden medallion is the best achievement .. you should see what guild masters wear" he said breaking Amelia out of her daze "Eh? what do you mean ..isn't the golden medalion the top rank" he chuckled and looked at her with a serious expression "No .. the golden ranks are at the bottom of the sea .. you see it the ranking goes like this .. a rookie which is you as a beginner with a dim medallion , an amateur with a brass medalion , a student with a bronze medallion , an explorer with a silver medallion , a master rookie with a golden medallion .. these are only for members not the master's and the teachers .. it continues with a squire with a grey sash , a soldier with a black sash , a knight with an indigo sash , a teacher with a crystal medallion , a pro with a red medallion , and finally a master with a blood bonded white crystal medallion .. so far that's all I have learnt .. because beyond that I don't know anything" he stopped as he looked at Amelia who was pondering about something.

She then stood up and grabbed Aethelu's sleeve pulling him up "I know I'm rude but can you go out on an adventure with me .. it's the best way to raise my skills and raise my grade as a member at the Golden Pegasus" she looked at him with glistening eyes of pleading .. he smiled and said "Sure" 'I hope I'm not getting myself into more trouble' he thought as Amelia led him to the Golden Pegasus guild.

When they got in the people around who were wearing armour with a Pegasus sign on the armour looked at him with weird looks and raised eyebrows "Who's that?"

"I don't know"

"From the robes he's wearing I'm thinking he's a noble"

"What's a noble doing here .. does he think we're having a tea party.."

the larger men and members laughed out loud as Aethelu walked past them , Amelia stopped just infront of the desk where a man with Pegasus tattoo on his shoulder "Amelia .. how nice to see you .. are you going to take on a mission today" she nodded with a resolute expression "And I want to bring him along" gasps echoed in the large hall .. but the large man said nothing and laughed out loud "That's okay .." he gave them a pamphlet with different mission .. from rank beginner to rank golden .. and of course now that she had a golden back up she chose the death mission .. when the large man saw the mission she had chosen his face became serious "I'm not here to play games here Amelia .." Amelia looked at Aethelu and stuffed her hand into his pockets and retrieved a golden medallion .. when the man saw it he nearly stumbled .. he turned his head to look at Aethelu and laughed "Oh , Amelia do you think I will .. " before he could finish Amelia opened her mouth told him who he was .. this time the man fell on his butt and looked at Aethelu for a brief before nodding "Okay I'll let you go on the mission" when the other people from the guild hear the large man approve of their mission they began to wonder 'Does he hate them so much to even send them on that dreadful mission'

'If I'm correct the mission is in the Poison Edge Forest'

the men and guild members started sweating buckets whilst other members laughed at Aethelu and Amelia .

But only two people in the corner with hoods on didn't laugh instead they stood up and walked to the desk .. and as they walked past Aethelu they felt an unusual aura coming from him .. but they ignored it and went to take the same mission as Aethelu and Amelia ..

Aethelu and Amelia prepared to go in the morning .. they went their separate ways.
