Slimy job

"We have little time, the sun will set soon," said Syllia.

"Let's get going right away," said Levi as he looked left and right trying to figure out which way was the east gate.

He felt a slight pull on his sleeve, he looked down and found Lydia pointing to the left. "Thanks, this way everyone!"

They walked down the street, past shops and residences while Levi looked at the job poster. 

It was an ongoing quest given by the town, it simply requested to kill as many as possible and bring back the soulstones for a reward.

They were tiny and had little magical value but could still be used for various things, and culling the slime population was a job barely anyone took.

Kathy explained that while some people start with slimes, a lot skip them or spend half a day on them, so the reward slightly increases.

They soon arrived at the east gate, the guards barely even looked at them as they opened the way for them to go through.
