Of course, if you think the novel is good as it is, I would be grateful to hear that as well. Things you need to know: This world begins in Korea and anything can happen or anything is possible. Chapter [2] Wild Goblin

[Weak Goblin

Level: 1

Health: 50/50

Strenght: 6

Speed: 16

Defence: 5]

A blue screen poped up displaying the goblin's stats. It showed like a large windowed screen next to the goblin's head, almost imposible to miss it.

"I don't think I'm dreaming anymore..."

My legs were shaking and I could feel the hairs on my arms standing up. My head and heart were telling me to one thing.

To run.

"Dammit!"

"Why can't I move?! Am I this scared?"

I attempted to run away, but my legs wouldn't cooperate. I felt like I was going to be devoured by the presence of this terrifying creature.

"Grr!"

The goblin rushed towards me with a loud growl, its jaws wide open and its claws outstretched in anticipation of its next meal.

Comon Yejin! Move, move, move!

Right before the goblin was about to attack, I managed to move out of the way in the nick of time.

"I did it!"

The goblin came down with a thud, not anticipating that I would dodge out of the way, but then I felt a sharp pain in my upper arm.

I took a quick look and saw a piece of my flesh cut by its sharp claws. Blood poured out of the wound. Despite my efforts to avoid the attack, it was too fast and I still ended up getting hit.

[Your health: 100 > 85/100]

The system also keep tracks of my health in real time? How convenient.

"This isn't good."

The goblin regained its footing, lifting its head as if it could detect the scent of the blood from the wound.

The goblin's skin was stretched tight as its veins bulged out and a strange grin appeared on its face. With a loud growl, it threw itself at me with arms outstretched.

I anticipated the attack this time, so I grabbed the chair I used to sit by my monitor and with all my strenght, forcefully swung it into the creature's face.

"Take this you ugly bastard!"

-SLAM!

The goblin's expression dropped as the impact of the hit caused one of its teeth to be thrown out of its mouth, and it was sent flying across the room, crashing into the wall.

[Goblin's health: 50>35/50 (Critical Hit!)]

My body was shaking uncontrollably and barely managing to stay upright. The goblin was knocked out, but the effects were likely to be temporary.

I inhaled and exhaled deeply, telling myself, "Come on, Yejin, try to relax. Fear and anxiety won't do me any good right now."

"If this is indeed somewhat like Enhanced Adventure, then I should be a pro at it."

The goblin stirred, shaking its head in confusion after waking from being unconscious for a few seconds.

If there is something I am sure of, I know that every monster in the game has a vulnerability.

I glared menacingly at the goblin, steadying myself and gripping my chair firmly as it was my only form of protection.

I took advantage of the goblin standing up unsteadily to sprint towards it and thrust my chair into its stomach.

-SLAM!

"That's weak spot number 1!"

[Goblin's health: 35>30/50]

The goblin tried to take the hit and retaliate, but I quickly yanked the chair and slammed it twice in the gut with even more force.

-SLAM! SLAM!

[Goblin's health: 30>25/50]

[Goblin's health: 25>21/50]

"Who said you were allowed to move!"

The creature was unaware that when confronted with a life-threatening situation, a human would go to any lengths to stay alive.

-POUND

-CRACK

I slammed the chair onto the goblin's legs, shattering the bones and causing the creature to collapse onto the floor.

[Goblin's health: 21>5/50 (Critical Hit!)]

"That's weak spot number 2!"

"Now it's time to finish this!"

I screamed loudly before thrusting the legs of the chair into the goblin's forehead. Gushes of blood even stained my pajamas.

-STAB

[Goblin's health: 5>0/50]

[Level up!

After I killed the monster, a level up screen suddenly showed up in my view. I guess kiling it gave me a heck ton of exp.

"Whew.."

I panted heavily, looking down at the form of the creature that was now motionless on my floor.

But for some reason... I did not feel anything when I killed the creature. Infact I felt nothing besides sheer excitement and enjoyment.

Maybe I'm crazy?

A slight grin formed on my face.

Choosing to forget the thought, I hurried to my room's window, adjusting the curtains and peering outside, my eyes widening in surprise.

"Is this really Seoul anymore?"

The structures were overrun by grass, the damage was extensive, and the atmosphere outside was gloomy, giving it a combination of ancient and modern vibes. Although, there was a dense fog that prevented me from seeing the streets.

"Now there is doubt about it!"

"Somehow, Enhanced Adventure is becoming reality."

I shifted back my curtains, and walked over to my closet.

"In Enhanced Adventure, the game featured a sprawling open world based on Korea, with the starter area located in the Center of Seoul."

I discarded my bloody pajamas and threw it into my laundry basket and changed into a black shirt, paired with a grey jacket and a pair of black pants.

"I think I'm the only one who has grasped what is happening right now."

"I'm going to take advantage of this and make my way to Jung-gu (the center of Seoul), which I believe is the beginner area."

I grabbed a few knives from my kitchen and concealed them in my coat, as well as taking hold of the wooden baseball bat I was gifted on my 17th birthday last year.

"I should be scared shitless right now still.."

"Then tell me why.... why am I so fucking excited right now!"

Gripping the baseball bat tightly, I set off to Jang-gu, ready to make the most of the situation.
