It didn't take the she-wolf long to drive from the Hub and waltz back inside the tower looming over everything in Chester. Although on arrival, Esme did park at a discreet distance down the road, and she slipped inside the building as though she was still a Hellhound and this was a mission. She may not have taken Einar's advice, but she would stay alert even in the comforts of a place she felt the safest.
Surprisingly when Esme walked out of the lift at the penthouse, she did not run into anyone. Luther nor his butler was there. Though it might have been because it was early morning. As she quietly snuck around the penthouse, her steps silent, she noted the mixture of smells again. There were other smells she did not recognise this time, another human perhaps?
But Esme didn't bother questioning who else could be there; it didn't seem necessary. The only important thing was to see Gabriel.
