As if on cue the door was flung open and Eleanor galloped in leaving no time for Kathleen to hide the blush that was still etched on her face.

"Mom, why are you so happy?" Eleanor asked, darting her eyes from her father to her mother.

"What makes you think I am happy, Eleanor?" Kathleen responded as she tried to return her expression to normal.

Luckily she had been able to bring some semblance of order to her dressing while she was arguing with Shawn, if not, she didn't know how she would have explained to Eleanor the state of her disarrayed clothes.

"Your face mummy, it is so red, and uncle Jason said that it is caused by being a bit too happy," she explained.
