Chapter 41: Majesty Awaits

I safely made it to the second taxi, and now almost nearing the castle. My legs started to shake, and my mind started to feel numb. This feeling was indescribable. I couldn’t hold myself to move properly.

I was able to recognize the nearby places along the way.

The grounds of the castle weren’t too far off. This was really about to happen. My first thought was how I was going to walk in there. I had forgotten I changed my entire look.

My mother is definitely going to freak out and probably throw a tantrum. My father will probably refuse to speak with me, and not make eye contact whatsoever.

But I did miss my room. The only sanctuary I had to myself. The only place where I was able to be myself, and not feel judged or looked down on. I did have a few things I wanted to take back with me, for when I leave for the city again. This time, I’ll make sure to spend extra time in there before I have to go.

“We’re just about near your stop,” The taxi driver announced.
