Chapter 24: First Date

I’m here in the apartment that Caleb had given to me. I was staring in the mirror at my new makeover. I cut my hair to shoulder length and dyed it completely black.

If anyone at the castle saw me, they would have had a complete panic attack. I was in awe of how I was pulling it off so effortlessly. Going from long brown hair to short dark hair was a complete turn. But I’m no longer the heiress, I’m now Bella.

We had gone shopping right before we came here. I had no clothes or accessories to my name. Caleb decided to treat me to a shopping spree. I was able to pick out a couple of new outfits and shoes to my liking. Not knowing where Caleb was going to take me, was also stressing me out. I had no idea what to even wear.

I thought about the city, myself, this apartment, and Caleb. I realized that it might take me over awhile to get used to all of it. Especially after finding out that he may like me as well.
