Chapter One: Forbidden Meeting

In the year 1776, Evelyn Tepes was 300 yrs. old, very young for a vampire, one of the youngest that has survived during the 1693 Salem Witch Trials.

True, she was still hiding from the humans who had killed her other brothers and sisters along with cousins, nieces and nephews, uncles and aunts, and her grandparents ;The only people in her life was her Father, Vlad Tepes IV and a servant couple Marva and Wilhelm Claudius. But today, Evelyn was hiding from a different enemy, her father and his ridiculous idea. With her string pack pin tight against her petite body, she closed her eyes and inhale the horrid memory of her father's betrayal.

***1 MONTH AGO, ***

"Father you must be joking!" Evelyn was pushed in her bedroom by her furious father. Vlad Tepes IV stood almost 7ft in height with a body that can kill 7 romans with one punch. Vlad was just as handsome as his father before him, with black ink hair that you can drown in by its color with eyes so cold not even a bonfire can warm your bones and skin as white as a snow's death. Vlad used his cold eyes to glare at his misbehaved daughter Evelyn, but it was hard, harder than killing the Massachusetts troops that killed his beloved wife Angelina, Evelyn did indeed look like her mother very much. Vlad close the door behind him and went back to Evelyn. "How dare you embarrass me IN front of THOSE people!" Vlad whispered harshly enough for the walls to shake around them. Evelyn met him with the same glare and crossed her arms under her bosom. "I will NOT marry a human! He is a disgusting pig!" Evelyn whisper back to her father.

Vlad sighed and try to calm his temper. 'You need to talk to her in a different approach dear.' Angelina would advise him when he and his only surviving daughter will get into spats such as this. His heart slowly broke from the memory of her voice echoing into his empty soul. "Sweetie..." Vlad tried to start off while sitting in her silken bed covers, "The human isn't just a normal human, he is a wizard! He can surly protect you from those false witch-hunters." Evelyn wanted to lash out to her father but the color under his eyes grew dark and slumber, the only time they get like this is when he was thinking about mother. Evelyn sighed and kneel before her father using her small hands to hold onto his large hands. "Father, I understand your worry and concern, but I am already 300 years old, I can take care of myself." Evelyn smile at her father while showing her vampiric teeth, the frown "That human, I wouldn't even eat him if he was the last human on this earth with the sun coming up."

"Evelyn don't talk like that, it isn't ladylike."

"We are in the America's, not in Europe anymore, time is changing where this betrothal nonsense is almost non-existent."

"Only to those humans! Which you still refuse to marry the Wizard."

"I don't care if he is a descendent of the mighty Merlin himself, the way he looks at the other humans, especially the little girls, it's disgusting father."

"Nonsense child, you're dreaming again."

"If I am dreaming, then that Wizard is my nightmare!"

"SILIENCE!" Vlad roar and storm towards his daughter. Evelyn sat on her bed with red tears streaming down her face, but strength and anger still glare at her father. "You'll have to push to the sunrise if you want me to marry him..." Evelyn whispered and use her sleeve to rub away the blood tears. Vlad rolled his eyes and grab the purple dress that his wife servant Marva spent a month making. "Get yourself ready my child, the wizard should be here any minute now to announce himself to you." And with that Vlad left the room while Evelyn stare at the beautiful violet dress that dear Marva put together and slowly started to undress herself until a soft knock broke the sad silence. "Come in.." Evelyn hiccup the command until she clear her throat and said the command in a clearer voice. "My Lady." Marva came out with a shiny silver hairbrush and some other trinkets. Evelyn smile sweetly as she saw Marva coming in with some beautiful goods. Marva chuckled and pet Evelyn's head. "I swear if you were a familiar, you'd be some sort of Raven or whatnot, you and your love for shining things." Both women laugh at the comment as Marva continue to help Evelyn undressing her outing dress. "I swear child, what do you do at your nights out, it seems like yesterday I just fix this dress." Marva tsk and folded the ruin dress into the bed and pulled out a purple and black lace corset. "Although your father and the court insist on you are wearing this, I disagree, you already as tiny as a mouse, even if your personality matches your father's dragon temper." Evelyn cover her mouth from snickering too loudly and suck in the empty air for the corset to fit properly.

"I don't really mind it, the tinier I am the easier it'll be to escape from this ridiculous ball party."

"You are one smart girl, don't let that Wizard take away your smarts!"

"Trust me, he won't do a damn thing to me."

"What do you mean?"

"I best not tell you Marva, the less you know the better."

Marva closed her eyes and used her empath powers she had before she became a vampire and saw through Evelyn. "Dear girl, you are mad!" Marva said in a hush whisper and turn to look at Evelyn to talk some sense to her until she suddenly saw Angelina. Marva sighed and went to the wardrobe, packing Evelyn's hunting gear. "Just get through the party first and once it's close to over this will be ready for you. I'll get Wilhelm to grab some weapons that won't be missed and here, this is what the wizard has gifted you, it's a powerful enchantment that is supposed to have you walk in the sunlight." Marva place the silver choker necklace on Evelyn's long neck. The necklace quietly hummed with power as Evelyn glance at her mirror to see her reflection and the beautiful necklace that had a Sapphire and Lapis Moon Crescents with ruby starlight's and opal stars. "It is very beautiful, my love for jewels, silver, and gems make me want to stay with this pig wizard." Evelyn laugh and glance at Marva. "Thank you, Marva, I will always remember you." Marva nodded in silence as they continued to put on the dress while Marva comb and braided Evelyn's Raven blue hair.

***Present Time 1776***

Evelyn open her eyes as the horn of the ships disturb the silence. She peaks over the docks to see which ship will sail back to the Americas. "Any luck yet?" whisper a male voice over her ear. She inhales the air and the scent of pinecones and wilderness and a hint of wet dog and turn around "You know, if I was a different Vampire, you'd be struck down wolf." Evelyn growl and she stare at the young man, seeing the blood curse through his bulging veins. "And you Vampire, if I was still Alpha in my pack, this meeting would be forbidden." Chuckle the man as he slowly smells the coconut and vanilla scent that was coming from Evelyn, his Evelyn. "To answer your question John, yes, I so happen to have a haunch that ship--" she turns around and pointed at a ship that was name "Randolph" "-- is set to sail towards the America's." John arch his head over to see the ship and saw that the ship did indeed have some wild animals inhabited in it. "What luck, this ship is shipping wild animals, maybe they can take in two more?" John smiled and look at Evelyn. "So much for the Captain quarters." Evelyn sighed and look at the very uncomfortable animal cages. "Come on love, you can't always use that mind control thing on the humans, if you take control of the captains mind, what happens if he can't sail the boat?" Evelyn gave a lazy glance at John, knowing that he was 100% correct and took off her pack "Do we have enough food for the voyage? I have some fruit and grab some eggs and raw quail and rabbits. What do you have?" "John was about to go through his bag until a familiar smell came to him. "We have to go now; I smell rotten blood." Evelyn eyes went wide as she started to smell it too, with the power of night and darkness, she grabs John's hand and became invisible as she snuck into the Randolph behind 1 empty animal cage. Letting go of John's hand he had sight of his own body again and started to key the empty animal cage and rush inside with Evelyn, hiding their packs in under the piles of Hay. "Ready?" John whisper as he kissed Evelyn plump lips. Evelyn nodded and close her eyes and suddenly felt the bite mark John gave her at their first meeting on her left hip starting to burn while her bones started to shift and muscles stretch until in mere seconds, John became a rather large dark red wolf while Evelyn became a smaller, but still large compare to normal wolf standards. The snuggle together and stayed quiet until a sailor walk pass their cage, John and Evelyn gave low growls and stare at the young sailor lad.

"O! Barney! when did we get wolves?"

"Steve, why do you ask stupid questions, maybe the Lord wants wolves or mermaids who cares! you don't go near those beasts, they look too big for their own bloody good!"

And with that the sailors left Evelyn and John alone and with the choker that is embedded into Evelyn neck, she can appreciate the sunrise.
