The Fifth House: Galegold

Did you really think that Hogwarts only had four founders? No, my friend, you should not believe what the history books say, because reality always has its hidden cards and sometimes it decides to use them at the most unexpected moment. How shall we say… now? When the unknown heir to the fifth house receives the letter from the famous College of Witchcraft and Wizardry. After an absence of almost a millennium, it is time for everyone to know the truth, whether they like it or not. I do not own Harry Potter or any other universe that will appear except the MC.

Emotional collapse

Fifth year at Hogwarts ended and the students of the school reluctantly left the castle. Although they missed their families, the new facilities made them feel much more productive and now they had the feeling that they were stopping mid-career, it was quite strange.

-If only it had happened a few years earlier..." lamented the seventh year students who were graduating and preparing to enter the magical community, where they would find a job from which to start their own lives.

But while most of them were on their way to the express while talking as a group, Silvia, Hermione and Soisen stayed at the castle and gathered at the entrance once they finished gathering their things. Soisen stowed the two witches' luggage in their outstretched suitcase and snapping his fingers, house elves appeared and held their hands and disappeared.

They had already said goodbye to their friends in secret, so only a few noticed their absence at the station. Soisen didn't know if their presence on the train might be attractive enough to send some sneaky morphs, so he decided it was best for everyone if they took a more direct and less traceable route.

Nagini could have Apparated to pick them up if she opened the castle's protections, but she preferred to use the house elves because Voldemort had no way of tracking their destination due to the differences between their modes of travel and the two witches would find it much more convenient.

It was too "lowly" and of an "inferior creature" magic, so Soisen was quite willing to believe that Voldemort, being the hypocrite he is in declaring himself as he is to the world when he is actually a half-breed, had almost zero knowledge of it. Also, just to be on the safe side, after appearing at one destination, the elves rotated before arriving at another destination and repeating.

In less than twenty minutes, they traveled to over fifty different random, off-the-beaten-path locations to throw off any possible tracking and only then did the last of the house elves appear and arrive at the magical stronghold, where their families were already waiting for them.

-Mom! Dad! -Hermione and Silvia went to hug their fathers and Soisen did the same with their mothers.

-Is everything all right here? -She unconsciously looked at the state of the bastion and nodded as she saw that it had really come a long way since the last time she saw it. The structures of the central buildings were finished and only the decorations and the application of the incantations and runes were missing, something they would have to complete later.

-We've spent some time getting to know each other and everything has been going very well," Ingta assured once they finished recharging their mother battery with a big hug to her son, "Since both families are both Muggles, they are very curious about the magical world despite what their daughters tell them and that manages to keep us from running out of conversation topics for a very long time.

-You should have seen the look on their faces when we showed them the clippings from the last Tournament," Ann laughed, remembering how both families' jaws had unhinged simultaneously, "Too bad she couldn't take a picture of their reaction!

-You had to show off, didn't you? -Soisen rolled his eyes.

-Well, being too discreet isn't necessarily the answer either," said Ingta, looking at him in a way that made him uncomfortable for some reason-"Which one of the two is the lucky one?

-What?

-Your clothes, they smell like a girl, and don't tell me it's because you were with your friends -Ingta stated very confidently- The smell is strong enough to reveal that she wasn't left behind just for a hug and it's still fresh, half a day at the most. So... let it all out!

Soisen was pinned to the spot, staring at his mother in complete and utter stupefaction at the demand posed.

Was she a dog? Forget the fact that he could smell someone else's scent, how did he know how much time had passed approximately?

Did he have any experience to compare with?

Wait, actually, it was possible....

But now he felt his dread growing uncontrollably, his mothers had been going off on too much of a tangent when it came to his future mate and if it wasn't for the fact that no one here had the legal powers to do so, it was almost guaranteed that not a week would go by before he ended up married without knowing what happened.

Wait.

Ann was a lawyer, but lawyers can't officiate at a wedding, right?

...

TRUTH?!

Her physical reaction was stronger than expected, because without being aware of it her pupils dilated, she started sweating profusely and her hair was changing color so fast, it was lucky that none of the people present was having an epileptic seizure. She felt short of breath and began to tremble.

Why was everything going dark?

Ingta was speechless at her son's aggressive physiological reaction to her question, which she could identify as inordinate fear just before she saw him faint and Ann rush to grab him and glare at her.

-Couldn't you have been a little more subtle? -I scolded her.

-How could I have expected her to react this way? -Igta defended herself, but the unconscious child in her partner's arms didn't help her situation.

Ann fell silent at the question. In fact, she was also very surprised to see how her little boy instead of reacting with embarrassment or evasiveness as she expected, looked at them in terror as if they were going to sacrifice him in a blood ritual during the next full moon.

-Good heavens, is the boy all right? -At some point when they weren't paying attention to their surroundings, the two families quickly approached as they happened to see Soisen's terrified reaction to some words they managed to overhear from a distance.

Mr. Granger and his wife knew first aid and asked if they needed it.

-It's nothing," Ann assured them, trying to find an excuse not to tell them that their son fainted with fear when they found out he had a partner, although they didn't know which of the two girls it was yet, since their reaction was similar, "He's going through a magical maladjustment, he should be fine in a few hours.

Silvia and Hermione exchanged looks of mutual understanding, but said nothing.

They had never seen Soisen react like that before.

And he took on a dragon with his fists!

The reason for the magical mismatch was undoubtedly a lie and excuse to cover something up, but since they were Soisen's family, it shouldn't be anything too bad if they're so calm.

...

Right?
