Margaret wouldn't remember encountering the disheveled Andy years ago.
At that time, she didn't recognize him at all, merely mistaking the pitiful figure curled up on the grass as a servant of the estate. After all, his clothes were old, stained with blood and bits of flesh, and tattered beyond recognition.

They discussed breaking off the engagement, talked about the strange occurrences at the mansion, and the suspicious behavior of Charlotte. Their people had been dispatched, but they hadn't received any useful information yet.
Meanwhile, the Charlotte mentioned by the siblings stumbled through the night.
