The Pillars of Light Beaming Through the Shroud of Blackness

Let us continue... I'm seeing through the pillars of light, but it's missing some parts. It could've been a quick epic battle...

Well, the [Bullet Time] ultimate skill was enhanced and Philip's brain couldn't take it as blood gushed out from his nose. Ariii suddenly appeared in front of him, like she surpassed the degree of slowed time initially

After Philip teleported away one more time by using ⟨⟨ Mana Actualization ⟩⟩, he became serious. No more slacking off as he grabbed the floating blood twinblade yo his right. The Pureblood and Soulblood Marbles also began revolving around him

But, Philip's eyes widened after he saw Ariii change positions. She was even overpowering the slowed time that's almost reaching the threshold of stopped time

"Every move I make, she moves..."

Philip began to use one of his most powerful moves and combos

Pureblood writings, runes, enchantments, and arrays was applied to the twinblade, as well as Soulblood enchants

「 Null of Magnificence. Twinblades Concept. Perfect Recoiless Technique. Darkness Authority. Mana Actualization 」

He used everything and once he raised the twinblades above his head, Ariii is already a few meters in front of him

He didn't want to kill Ariii, but he was left with no choice and he then forcefully swung the overpowering blood twinblades down at Ariii

A bright vertical line suddenly appeared in between Ariii's face and through her body, like a cross section. Her eyes widened and the cracks on her eyes widened and the layers was chipped off

Her body then reversed, like she was pushed away by a force. Her movement was smooth, as if she wasn't being affected by the almost stopped time

It was then that her body perfectly split in half. Followed by that, a bright vertical line also appeared across the entire [Plane of the Lost Demonic Bagua]. It penetrated through the platform, even through the wall of miasma and the moon

The entire plane split apart and shattered as they returned back to the Terra Spirit World. Ariii's split body continued to fall down the sky while the other half of her body moves further away from the other half

Every spirit leader that saw this, even Bari, was shocked and stunned. They couldn't believe that Ariii lost to Philip and that she was killed in the process

Tenshi smiled as she saw Philip defeating Ariii. She trusted that he could defeat her and she was right

At this point, the system and Emily returned back to Philip, but the system and Emily weren't taking it easy

「 Quick! Grab her head!! 」

"...?"

Philip was confused at Emily's words, but he immediately understood after the entire atmosphere of the Terra Spirit World suddenly dropped. The entire earth shook and the sky darkened. All the beings in the Spirit World felt this drastic change and was alarmed

Both Philip and Tenshi's eyes widened

Tenshi didn't waste any time and she immediately transformed into her Void Angel form and Amatsuka emerged. She then wielded the shotgun and it transformed into its void form. The shotgun became entirely black with violet accents from within

Tentacled cells began to grow from the surface of Ariii's cross section and conjoin together, attempting to pull each other and reattach themselves

But Amatsuka instantly appeared behind Ariii's body as she was falling down with void movement. She them aimed the void shotgun at Ariii's half repaired body and pulled the trigger

"Voided"

A cone shaped blast engulfed Ariii and her body was filled with void, stopping all kinetic movement in that area

In that moment, Philip appeared in front of Ariii, when her body is almost one again with just a gap across her body, and slammed his right hand on her forehead

Philip closed his eyes and reopened them. He saw himself in a white world, which is the ⟨⟨ World of Imagination ⟩⟩. He wondered why Emily places him in this world and he found out after seeing the person in front of him

He found Ariii, who is in her normal appearance from when she first saw Philip

She has a smug look with overconfidence writte all over her. She has her arms crossed on her chest and she was floating like some kind of a god

"Where are we?"

Ariii asked

"We're in my mind, my World of Imagination"

"Are you sure you want to bring me here?"

Philip and Ariii had back and forth on who's more powerful and who will defeat the other. But in the end, Ariii admitted defeat before anything began, after Philip warned her what she wished for

All this time, even if Ariii seemed like a savage and out of control, she was conscious and aware of her actions. Even if she knows she'll win, she admitted defeat

They then engaged in a conversation as Philip asked her who she was and her ability

"I don't know what power I have, nor do I know what ability I have..."

She didn't know what her ability is, but she knows that she's the most powerful demon to ever exist

The reason she was called as the Spirit King of Lost Demons is because her and her army with some demon refugess literally got lost and entered the Terra Spirit World

Her true identity is that she's the 999th child of the Demon God

The Demon God was born since the Dawn of Creation of the universe. He is not a god, a divine being, or a level of mastery, but a primordial existence, just like the first generations of divine beings, Universal Dragons, and Mana Avatars

Ariii then went ahead and told Philip about the history of demons that only she knows about, as well the Demon God himself

Apparently, demons were not supposed to be seen as evil, but they were depicted as evil because of the actions of the devils. The evil things that the devils did were pinned towards the demons, which gave the mortals the faith the demons are evil

The Demon God created the Demon Realm for his children to live and strive, but the devils became jealous and sabotaged the entire Demon Realm and the existence of demons

Over the course millions of years, the demon spawns and the other children of the Demon God were being led to believe that they were evil, until they fully embraced it

The 666th demon was pure evil and he waged demonic war over every Demon Lords, the children of the Demon God, and their kingdoms, as well as every other beings in different realms and worlds

Ariii tried to tell everyone the truth, but it fell on deaf ears and they became even angrier at Ariii, saying that she's trying to manipulate them

Ariii then went ahead to say that the Demon God is dying as he fell sick. He's currently on his last breaths

Therefore, all Demon Lords agreed on a cease-fire to find a new canditate for the Demon God. All even numbered Demon Lord are male while the odd numbered ones are females, so the female Demon Lords will be called Desecration Maidens

While Ariii was explaining all of these, she kept yawning and when she declared that she chose Philip to be her partner to give birth to a Demon God Candidate, she fell asleep as she floated freely in the white world

Philip's face crumpled after hearing all those information, especially the part where Ariii wants him to impregnate her so that a Demon God Candidate will be born

"Why did she fall asleep?"

「 Using too much of her ability uses too much of her strength and energy. The consequence of her using too much power is that an unbearable drowsiness will overtake her and it will forcefully make her sleep. Depending on how much power she used, the longer her slumber will go. In this case, she'll be asleep for at least one wekk from her usual one hour to one day 」

"I see..."

Philip and Emily went ahead and talked regarding everything that happened in the Terra Spirit World until now. Emily also made sure that Philip should talk to her through his mind because Ariii might hear him talking to the system even if she's asleep

They began to talk about this Terra Spirit World that's above of Earth's original Spirit World. He questioned why Terra would do that and Emily just answered him to ask Terra whenever he has time

They then moved on at the Taint Metal that composed the thorned scythe that Marielle was holding earlier. He questioned why such scythe was here out of all places and why is it's purpose is to corrupt the Floral Empire

Finally, they talked about Ariii and her ability

「 Her ability is Overpowered. She has the ability to increase her power depending on the enemy that she's facing. There's no limit to the increase of her power, that's why it will be worse for her when sleepiness hits her. Though, if she ever fought you in the World of Imagination, she will instantly fall asleep 」

During their conversation, it is aslo revealed that Ariii is the third Messenger of Fate Candidate

『 Ariii Akumasha has earned the Messenger of Fate Candidate title! 』

Philip was confused why would Ariii receive the title

'Why would Ariii receive the Messenger of Fate Candidate title? What are the conditions to receive the title?'

Emily then went ahead and explained it to Philip

Basically, beings with unique powers and abilities are qualified to be a Messenger of Fate Candidate. In addition to that, the being or individual must have a sliver of a chance to dedicate or offer their life, soul, or being towards Philip

In this case, Tenshi has dedicated her entire being towards Philip after he saved her from Tenebris and the fact that she understood and empathized with Philip's suffering and despair allowed her to become the First Messenger of Fate

In the case of Sai, she has been helped by Philip several times and she has been considering on trying to dedicate her being to him. She considered throwing away her status and be under Philip. Although, she's still not complete, even with Puredivinity, as she still need to manifest her Plane of Existence and fix Saykeraborne. That's why she still a candidate

This is the same for Alucard because he has offered his everything to Philip the moment he saved him from his fate and destiny from the Pureblood. His abilities might be not unique, but the system thought otherwise, especially since Alucard hasn't consolidated her new blood power as the Vampire King yet

Ariii is a different case. The fact that she want Philip made her a candidate. Her power is also unique and the system deemed her qualified for the candidate title for some reason

'I see...'

This made Philip decide that he would bring Ariii back to the material world, especially since her identity as the 999th Demon Lord is pretty specila

They then moved on to the Demon Realm that Ariii revealed to them. Of course, Emily and the system revealed some information about the Demon Realm, but not too much because Philip needs to go to this realm to learn anything

Philip then made a correlation regarding the first 72 demons in the Demon Realm and asked if they are what he thinks they are

「 Yes, those 72 Great Demons, the same demons that are in the Lesser Key of Solomon, also known as Lemegeton Clavicula Salomonis, or simply Lemegeton 」

'Wait!'

Philip realized more correlations regarding the representative of the Secret Organizations, as he discovered during the World Conference

'But his name is Lemegeton Labose Librorum Leviticus, right?'

「 Correct. Lemegeton means the demons, Labose means the cure or poison, Librorum means the collection, and Leviticus means the holy conduct of faith and acceptance 」

'What? Then this further supports Ariii's claim that the demons are not evil?'

「 Perhaps 」

Emily then went ahead and explained the Desecration Maidens to Philip and what it entails

Basically, the Desecration Maidens are tasked to give birth to the canditate of the next Demon God. The moment the Demon God dies, any of the offsprings of any demons are qualified to become a canditate of the next Demon God

Of course the offsprings of the Great Demons and Demon Lords have a higher chance of becoming the Demon God, unlike the offsprings of every other demon

Emily predicts that since a lot of offsprings will be made after the Demon God dies, since there will be a lot of candidates, the Demon Realm will build something along the lines of a Demon God Academy to test the affinity of the Demon God Canditates if they are qualified to become the Demon God. Else, they will be weeded out and be not accepted in the academy

Of course, there will be discrimination from the nobles, who are the offsprings of the 999 Demon God children, and commoners, who are the offsprings of oridnary demon

'...'

Philip's expression was blank and his eyes are empty because he thought that this setting is just like the plot of some anime and manga, multiple of them. The only difference is that it's not a Demon Lord or Demon King, but the Demon God. It also doesn't encompass just a world, but a whole realm or the entire universe. It is much of a bigger scale and the entire academy might be an entire world and not just a country or continent

Emily then persuaded Philip that this will become a good thing since 500 of the Desecration Maidens will want to impregnated by Philip to have their offspring. This will in turn empower the [Love Shard] and probably upgrade

'Huh?! What do you mean?'

「 Don't you know? If one of the Desecration Maidens decides on who their partner will be, all the other Desecration Maidens will also want that partner, no questions asked. This means that if you want, you'll have 500 Demon God Canditate babies at the same time 」

'NOOOOOOOO!!!'

Philip was stunned upon the realization. He can't handle more women to fall for him and wanting to have his seed

「 But you don't have to accept their feelings or whatsoever... Just impregnate them! 」

'No! It's the same thing... You know what? Let's move on from this... We'll cross the bridge when we get there'

「 Alright 」

In all honesty, Philip wasn't opposed to it, but he just feel wrong about it. He needs to consider it first in the Demon Realm before doing it

At this point, Philip decided to leave the ⟨⟨ World of Imagination ⟩⟩ since there's nothing left to talk about

Philip glid towards Ariii and carried her on his right arm. He then raised his right arm and plopped her body on his right shoulder

He closed his eyes and reopened them. He came back to the Terra Spirit World with Ariii's repaired body on his shoulder. Everything seemed to calm down and all the spirit leaders had their eyes wide opened from the fact that Philip defeated Ariii

"It is done"

Philip declared and Amatsuka smiled. She transformed back to Tenshi's Holy Angel form and the shotgun also returned back to its angelic form

"So, is our business here over?"

Tenshi asked

"Not yet... We have company coming..."

Just then, the sky darkened and a pillar of light beamed down from the sky and a swirl of darkness grew in the air

All the spirit leaders were surprised and they began to kneel down. In the horizon, a sea of specks came rushing like a tsunami, but those specks are too far for anyone to see what those specks are, except for Philip

That's it for this iteration... I can see the end of the darkness and the light of the Golden Timeline is near!

As I've been summarizing this... It's too unfortunate that this happened. Nothing that I can do, for now...
