Chapter 99

I was furious at Jack for snitching on me. I don't know how to forgive him. I had no idea this was going to happen, and I had let my guard down.

"Do you think we're all right now?" Jack inquired.

"Sure," I replied, "just don't try to hurt me. I don't think I'll forgive you easily if you do that."

"I think you're trying to send me a message," Josh inquired.

"Thank God you know who I'm talking about, especially you," I said.

After they'd gone, I stayed behind to make sure nothing was missing from the library, or if Josh hadn't planted a camera or anything else that could be used to monitor the house.

"Where has Fiona gone?" "She was the one who summoned me here, but instead I met Jack and Josh," I thought to myself.

"Did you enjoy your surprise?"

I turned around to see who had said something. Fiona was the person in question. "How did you get in here?" I inquired right away.

She burst out laughing, as if what I had asked her was amusing. "Oh, my gosh, you're so funny when it comes to asking questions," she teased.

"Hahaha, did you find that funny?" "I'm not interested in your nonsense," I said.

"Do you believe you can harm me?" She was curious.

Is she pretending to be Wonder Woman right now, when I can remove her head in the blink of an eye? I smiled, slightly shaking my head in response to her question. I took a few steps closer to her.

"I can even do anything you've ever imagined for me," I chuckled, borrowing Nicholas' devilish laugh for the moment.

"Do you think this is going to scare me?" she asked as she approached me.

I admire her bravery, but I hope she doesn't come to regret it. "I wasn't intending to scare you, but rather to warn you," I hinted.

Enough of her babbling; let me show her what I have in store for her. I morphed my hand and face into my supernatural form and dashed towards her. I wrapped my hand around her and pushed her back, slamming her into the wall.

I looked at her in the eyes. They were both flushed, and her mouth was open wide. She must be having difficulty breathing. Veins crawled all over her face, and they were red as well. I believe this should be enough of a lesson for her to understand that I am not a weakling and that she should be cautious in how she speaks to me.

I removed my hand from her neck. She immediately coughed, blending her head to the ground. Then she began pounding her hand against her chest. She was attempting to get enough air for herself.

I took a step away from her. "You shouldn't have forced me to show you that side of myself," I smiled.

After a few minutes of recovering from my neck grip, she finally raised her head from the ground.
