MAYA

It's still surprising and strange to me that I am in a rogue community.

These rogues are the kindest have ever seen, they loved and cared for each other even though their leader and his warriors were brutal, but their brutality are not directed to their members but to those who made them rogues.

The Alpha looked very young, but I was amazed at how he led a whole community of rogues as its leader.

They obeyed and respected him, not minding the fact that he was too young to be a rogue Alpha

He sometimes reminded me of Nathan because they seemed to be the same age.

If Nathan did not betray the pack would it have been different now, will I still be in Blood Rose pack with my family?".

It's so heartbreaking to know my own best friend betrayed our friendship and his pack.

How could he do this to me, to my parents? I have cried myself to sleep many nights thinking about Nathan's betrayal.

This is all that witch's fault, she destroyed everything I loved, she destroyed my home.

"Lana, you will pay for this!"

Maya could not believe the witch was responsible for the pack's hatred towards her.

As days went by in the rogue community, she saw the difference between being a rogue and living in a pack.

Rogues lived freely, they are not bound by rules, they went to wherever they wanted and did whatever they pleased, no one had the time to hate anyone.

In a pack, you are bound by rules, you don't get to go wherever you want without the fear of being attacked and killed by rogues or rival packs.

Maya's mind flashed back to her brother Lucas, "what could they have done to him?"

That witch and those traitors who followed Behind her to commit these atrocious crimes will pay!, I will make them pay!…."

Maya lost control as she continued screaming and chanting unknowingly to her.

"I will kill them all, I will kill them all",

The color of her eyes changed from its beautiful blue color to red, she completely lost herself as she screamed, powers emitted from her without her knowledge and every piece of glass in the room was left broken.

Meredith rushed into the room only to find the room scattered and piece of glasses chattered everywhere.

Meredith was horrified at the sight of Maya, who continued screaming.

She tried calming Maya down, but the moment she approached her, she was thrown off by a powerful force unknown to her.

Meredith mind linked the rogue Alpha for help, and he came in as soon as he was called.

"What in the world?, why is she in this state?".

"I have no idea Alpha Frederick, I've never seen anything like this before, this is very strange."

Frederick approached Maya slowly and carefully, thinking he could calm her down.

The moment he touched her, he was thrown off the ground as well. Alpha Frederick got pissed as he wanted to shift to his wolf, but his wolf won't oblige.

"What kind of powers does she have that even my wolf is afraid to appear?"

He approached Maya again, but this time the powers emitting from her connected him to her, and he instantly felt her pains.

Alpha Frederick quickly took his hands off Maya and quickly got away from her like she was a poisonous weapon.

"What was that, how come I felt the pains she was feeling, how is that even possible?". Alpha Frederick questioned himself.

"Are you okay Alpha?", Meredith asked, looking confused.

Alpha Frederick went out from the room as he headed to his room.

He had a lot to think about. He has to know who Maya was and why he could feel what she felt when he touched her.

Meredith took care of Maya as she again lost consciousness.

"How long will she sleep this time"? Meredith thought.

Meredith visited the witch as she was someone who could tell her what is to come and what to do.

"Vina I think this new girl the Alpha brought is no ordinary werewolf".

Vina looked at Meredith carefully, confused at her words.

"Why do you conclude on that, Meredith?".

"Because she has a strange power emitting from her, I can't even go near her for her powers were too strong.

I don't know what Alpha Frederick saw but am sure he knows something,, but he didn't say anything".

Vina was also confused herself, for she felt the strange power here in her room, this was not a power any Alpha possessed. Vina knew Maya was strange the first day she saw her, no one survived what she survived, and the strangest part of it all was that she could never see Maya's past or future, and that scared her to a great extent.

"Meredith, that girl indeed isn't as simple as we think, and as such we should watch her closely.

I'm sure the Alpha will find out who she is and by then I will get a clue of what surrounds her and why she has such strange powers."

"But I can't help myself from worrying, what if whoever tried killing her comes for us, if anyone wanted her death then it's a clear indication that she isn't as simple as we think she is.

Meredith was one of those who escaped with Alpha Frederick. She was the pack's healer back then too, but when their pack got attacked, her mate together with her son were killed during the battle.

Meredith never wanted to leave the pack for she was determined to be killed alongside her family, but then she saw Frederick their beta's son whose parents were also killed, she felt bad for the boy as they all escaped from the pack.

They lived in the wild as rogues. Meredith watched Frederick grew into the Alpha he was, and she also saw him as her child.

She cared for him and the community they created now,, so she would always play her part to keep it safe.

Meanwhile, Vina left her pack on her own free will when she got rejected by her mate who was an Alpha simply because he was in love with his Gamma's daughter who also rejected her mate for the Alpha.

At first, she pleaded with the Alpha not to reject her for she was willing to accept his relationship with the Gamma's daughter, but the Alpha was so cruel but rejected her despite her pleadings.

She felt the pain of rejection for many years until one day when the Alpha and his Luna gave birth to a son.

Vina was ridiculed and laughed at for not being worthy of their Alpha.

She ran away when she could not bear the shame and pain she felt.

FREDERICK

From the day he felt Maya's pains, whenever she cried or was sad he would know, for he will be feeling the same way.

This was not what Frederick planned for, he knew he only wanted to save her, but now he's feeling her every emotion.

He had tried asking her about her parents, but she rather cried and left him in pains. Just how was he to get into the bottom of what really happened to her?.

He can't let her know she affected him in this manner. He would have to find out whatever bond that was connecting them to him feeling her every emotions.

He decided to pay the witch a visit.

Vina never leaves her room as she was always making charms and potions for the safety of the rogue community.

"It's strange to see you visit me, Alpha Frederick, you must be worried about the new girl you brought." She said without taking a glance a him.

Frederick knew only the witch could help him, and so he told her everything that happened when he touched Maya

Vina was more confused at what Alpha Frederick told her. This was rather very strange to hear.

She assured Alpha Frederick she would find a way to break the bond between them two.

But in reality, it was hard to break a bond that was formed without a witch's spell.

Now she really needs to know what kind of bond it was and why it linked them both.

Vina searched her history books to find out a cure, but she found nothing of the sort.

This was strange because Maya was not Frederick's mate, for his wolf would have called out to her if she was.

"What am I missing?" she thought

If she can be this confused about the situation.

Vina came to a conclusion that whatever bonded them was no ordinary but something stronger than a witch's spell.

Vina decided she was going to have a word alone with Maya, for only she could tell her the truth about who she was and the reason as to why she was left for dead.
