Hunt Concludes

Ena jumps back and shoots at the wolf. The wolf dashes to the side and stares at the two, readying to strike.

"Don't show your back to it," Ena shouted at Raiden.

Raiden unsheaths his sword and held it tightly towards the wolf.

Raiden steps back towards Ena, but just as he did the wolf dashed towards him.

Raiden almost lost his balance, but he was able to activate [Body Enchantment: Lvl 1] and [Speed Boost: Lvl 2]. Raiden dashed to his left. when this happened Ena was able to hide on a tree when the wolf lunched itself towards Raiden.

"Stay sharp Raiden," Ena said as she jumps from tree to tree while Raiden hit a tree with his side,

Raiden, with his back on a tree, responded with a nod. while having two of his skills active he readies himself again.

"Raiden, ill try to kill it. Try provoking it again," Ena said, holding her bow ready.

Raiden just nodded. he then steps forward. Just as he did, the wolf lunges itself again. Raiden was not able to correct his trajectory, He was dashing towards the wolf. He was beside the wolf, the wolf tried to take a bite of Raiden, but because of their speed, was not able to.

Raiden hit another tree to stop, he noticed that he was faster than the wolf, he would be able to outrun the wolf. While Raiden was standing beside a tree, Ena shoots at the wolf when it stopped. but before the arrow hit the wolf, it dashed towards Raiden again. the arrow hit the ground and created a small explosion.

Raiden immediately dashed to his left again with his two skills still active. He stopped when he hit a tree again.

"Change of plan, The wolf reacts too quickly I'll shoot my arrow before it could stop," Ena told Raiden.

Raiden nodded again, "You better hit it, my body is aching already."

Raiden dashes again towards the wolf. this time at a little bit towards his left. The wolf was provoked and dashed towards Raiden, This time it was not able to attempt to take a bite at Raiden.

When the two dashed Ena aimed towards where the wolf was headed, but the wolf increased its speed instead of stopping, it jumped on the side of a tree and changed its trajectory dashing towards Raiden again. the arrow hit the ground again and created another small explosion.

Raiden dashed again towards another tree in his left trying to keep the same distance he has kept towards the wolf.

While Raiden was resting in a tree that he hit with his body in order to stop, Ena was panicking. Both of her surprise attacks did not work.

Raiden then got an idea, "Ena, let me try something when the wolf stops take the shot,"

Ena readied her arrow, with her bow ready she told a piece of bad news to Raiden, "If this works we are grabbing the wolf and leave immediately, that wolf is only a scout, the rest of its pack, would probably come here."

Raiden nodded and dashed towards the wolf again. This time he tried to slice the wolf's leg. But the rusty sword did nothing other than agitate the wolf again.

When Ena notice what happened she said, "What are you trying? this ain't going to work."

"Again!" Raiden said, this time before he dashed towards the wolf who just stopped, he inserted mana into the rusty sword, Similar to Ena's arrow. But there is a difference, Raiden made his mana move like a chainsaw around his sword give the sword a sharper edge. Raiden dashed towards the wolf again when he felt that the edge of the sword was glowing steadily and brightly.

When Raiden dashed, so did the wolf. He slashed the wolf's front right leg and hind right leg. Raiden hit another tree to stop. The wolf's legs were flung aside because of the speed. Ena saw this and took her shot before the wolf could let out a whimper. Raiden saw the explosive mana burst inside the wolf's body. he sheathed his sword, deactivated [Speed Boost: Lvl 2], and ran towards the baron boar's carcass. Ena jumped towards the pig also.

They immediately tied the Baron boar and lifted it. With [Body Enchantment] on they both tried to run back to the village.

Raiden and Ena felt that they were running out of mana. Ena said, "I'm running out of mana, can you still go on?"

Raiden replied, "not for long."

"Don't force yourself," Ena said

They both deactivated [Body Enchanment]

After a while, they reached the gate, exhausted Raiden was excited.

"Another one? Wow! you two, you shouldn't have," Alfred greeted them when they arrived.

When the two passed the gate, Raiden dropped his body on the floor while breathing heavily.

"You still can't stand the travel?" Alfred asked the exhausted boy.

"Gray wolf," Ena said letting go of the boar and continuing to walk, she headed straight back to her home.

Surprised, Alfred lifted Raiden upwards. With his arm on Raiden's side, Alfred asked, "Seriously?"

Raiden, with his arm over Alfred's shoulder, answered the simple question, "Oh! So that's what it was called," then grinned.

"Dang, you two are gutsy, Being able to run away from a pack Gray wolf, with only you getting lightly injured," Alfred said.

"Hehehehe, we killed one," Raiden said while smiling.

Alfred smiled and said, "You two really shouldn't try that again."

Raiden was finally able to recover, he walked behind the baron boar, "Let's get this to Richard."

"Sure"

The two stopped in front of Richard's house with the boar on their shoulder.

Richard got out of his house and saw another baron boar. He also sees the injured Raiden.

"This one gave you trouble huh?" Richard asked.

"Gray wolf," Raiden said.

With a surprised look on his face, Richard asked again, "An entire pack?"

"Just one, and we killed it" Raiden answered.

Richard laughed, and said, "Wow you two are something, young and energetic. But I suggest you two stop going too far, even the other hunters just take in normal charger boars."

Raiden smiled and replied, "I'll keep that in mind."
