Slowly walking to the window, Qin Siye looked thoughtfully into the pitch-black night.
"I just have a feeling, better to check anyway. Of course, Chen Fa's side should also follow up at the same time."
Twenty minutes later, Auntie Li brought in the prepared food.
Yin Xi, smelling the aromatic scent of the food, remembered she hadn't eaten a bite all day.
She couldn't help but lightly lick her lips, her peach blossom-like eyes immediately filling with tears.
Auntie Li, seeing her like this, knew she must have gone through some unknown hardships and hadn't even had the chance to eat, starving.
Tears tinged her nose as she smiled at her, "Miss Yin, there's no one else here, please eat."
Gratefully accepting the food, Yin Xi didn't hesitate and began to eat heartily.
However, after only a few bites, large tears started rolling down her cheeks.
Auntie Li quickly passed her a tissue with a distressed look.
"Thank you, Auntie Li!" Yin Xi's voice was choked, a warm stream slowly spreading throughout her body.
After she finished eating, Auntie Li was just leaving the room with the dishes when she met Qin Siye at the study's door.
It was so late, yet the master still hadn't rested.
"Auntie Li, how is Miss Yin?" Qin Siye glanced at the empty dishes in her hands and asked slowly.
"She has gone to sleep." Auntie Li looked up at him, replying respectfully and cautiously, "It seems like Miss Yin was starving the whole day, she shed a lot of tears while eating."
Hearing this, Qin Siye's eyes revealed a fleeting look of surprise.
"I see. You may go now. Rest early, and make her some light meals for the morning."
"Yes, Master."
Once Auntie Li had gone downstairs, Qin Siye, with deep-set eyes, glanced toward the guest room and then started walking towards the third-floor bedroom.

The next day, when Yin Xi woke up, the sun was already high in the sky.
She didn't know if it was due to the medicine or sheer exhaustion, but she had slept very soundly last night.
At this moment, she felt much lighter all over, and it seemed her fever had subsided as well.
She sat up in bed, grabbed her bag, found her phone to check the time, and realized it had switched off due to no battery.
She rummaged through her bag, thankfully, the charger was also inside.
She immediately got out of bed and quickly charged the phone.
The phone must've been dead since last night, otherwise, she should have received a call from Auntie Zhou by now.
Auntie Zhou, unable to contact her, must've been very worried; she needed to call her back quickly.
Walking into the bathroom, Yin Xi saw her own haggard and pale reflection in the mirror, along with the ill-fitting long shirt she wore, and smiled wryly.
She had never imagined that one day, the daughter of the CEO of a listed company would come to such a pass.
After freshening up, Yin Xi pressed the power button on her phone and first called Auntie Zhou.
"Hello? Miss, is that you?" Auntie Zhou's voice, filled with concern, immediately came through the phone.
"It's me, Auntie Zhou!" Tears sprang into Yin Xi's eyes instantly.
"That's great, Miss. Hearing your voice, I can finally relax! Where were you last night?" Auntie Zhou's voice also choked up.
"I was rescued by a Mr. Qin, I'm not sure where this is, and I'm still at his house," Yin Xi replied softly, glancing out the window.
"Oh, that's good. It seems Mr. Qin is a good man!"
Auntie Zhou paused for a moment, then continued,
"I've sent the address of my house to your WeChat, so you can come straight to me."
"Okay. Thank you, Auntie Zhou."
After hanging up the phone, Yin Xi requested a few more days off from "K" Fashion magazine and then left her room to head downstairs.
As she walked, she observed everything around her: the villa had three floors, each with five or six rooms.
The round crystal chandelier in the living room hung down from the ceiling more than a dozen meters high, grand and luxurious, making one marvel.
The furniture and decorations adopted a European style, yet the colors were very elegant, all reflecting the owner's wealth and modesty.
This warmth couldn't help but grow in one's heart.
Just who exactly was this Mr. Qin?
"Miss Yin, you're up?" Auntie Li, bustling in the living room, greeted Yin Xi with a hearty smile upon seeing her.
"Good morning, Auntie Li," Yin Xi said, pursing her lips and offering a small smile in return.
After spending the previous night with her and experiencing her thoughtful care, Yin Xi felt an inexplicable sense of closeness upon seeing Auntie Li again.
"Please sit down." Auntie Li helped her to a seat in the dining room. "I was just about to go up and check on you. The master told me not to disturb you and to let you sleep a little longer before he left."
Mr. Qin, appearing cold and reserved, a man of few words, had such an attentive side too?
Auntie Li quickly brought the food to the table. "Miss Yin, I prepared all this meal early in the morning, as per the master's instructions.
I've been here for three years, and you are the only woman he's ever brought home. It seems, the master treats you quite differently."
They were but strangers who had met by chance; where was this special treatment coming from?
Yin Xi hastily denied:
"No, no, Auntie Li, you've got it wrong. I've only just met Mr. Qin for the first time.
After he rescued me last night, I fainted suddenly. Perhaps it was just his kind nature that brought me here."
Upon hearing this, Auntie Li merely smiled and said nothing.
In her eyes, this was indeed out of the ordinary.
Suddenly, Yin Xi's eyes flickered as she asked softly, "Auntie Li, Mr. Qin saved me yesterday, and I still don't know his full name.
Would it be possible for you to tell me, so that I can properly thank him later if I get the chance?"
"Oh, right, if you hadn't mentioned it, I would have almost forgotten," Auntie Li's eyes brightened, as though she remembered something, and she walked over to the coffee table to pick up a business card.
"The master left this especially for you before he left. He said you could call him if you needed anything.
Also, the master mentioned that he wanted you to rest here for the day, and he has something he'd like to ask you when he returns this evening."
Yin Xi took the business card slowly, and when she saw the name "Qin Siye," her heart shook with shock.
Qin Siye? It was actually Qin Siye.
She had seen his photo while interning at "K" Fashion magazine; no wonder he had seemed vaguely familiar when she saw him yesterday.
Qin Siye was the well-known young talent of K City, in control of Zhuosheng Group with businesses all over the world.
The Qin family was the wealthiest in the area, so no wonder he could afford such an upscale house.
She had often heard her father praising him, saying he was highly capable, decisive in action, and a rare business elite.
"I understand, thank you, Auntie Li!" Yin Xi pulled herself back from her thoughts and began to slowly drink her porridge.

In the president's office at Zhuosheng Group, Qin Siye had just finished a meeting and sat down when he received a call from his grandmother.
"Hello? Grandma, you're calling me so early; is there something wrong?"
"You rascal, what kind of thing is that to say? Can't I call you if there's nothing wrong?" Xu Zhilan replied on the other end of the line, her voice tinged with a hint of annoyance.
