When Belle assumed the position of the CEO, many of the shareholders and board of directors opposed to the idea. To the point that they wanted to pull out their shares from the company. Many of them was skeptical about the young woman as their boss. Who would like to be ordered around by younger than them? Or even, same age as their son or daughter? Their pride could not take it and they wanted to pull out their shares, immediately. They did not want to gamble their luck and placed it unto a young lass.

One thing that they did was to underestimate her. She may be young but she already has proven her might during the time when she assumed the position of her father's company. They truly overlooked it saying that it was a mere luck that she had pulled the company from the verge of bankruptcy.

Knowing this, Belle called for an emergency board meeting and shareholders meeting. She wanted to learn the gravity of the situation they are facing.

She faced the board with confidence that she would outrun the ordeal that the company has facing. She already prepared some of the plans for the next five years of operation. She already drafted out the financial analysis based on the data they had given to her and even prepared some other plans if ever her all initial plans failed. She also did not fail to mention their revenues for the year and the projected revenues for the next five years.

She presented it on the meeting which the board of directors applauded her and gained the majority of their votes.

However, she did not notice then the particular board member that was harboring the intention of seating the seat even though he was not a Yang by blood.

She concluded the meeting and got out from the conference room along with her assistant, Mr. Tao. A man approached her from behind.

"Miss Yang! Can I have some of your time?" the man asked.

"What is it, Director Ma?" she asked bluntly. Looking at his face, gave off a not so nice feeling in Belle. She wanted to end the conversation as soon as possible by not getting on his bad books because he was the key to her success.

"I know about the chairman. How can you not tell the board directly? I don't know what are your intentions Miss Yang but if the company befalls, don't even think of showing your face in this company. Even though you are directly appointed by the chairman, I still doubt your capabilities!" Director Ma said with a scrutinizing look on his face. He just utterly said that Belle is incapable of running the company and she has hidden agenda of taking over abruptly even though she was appointed by the chairman to assume the position of CEO.

Hearing this, Belle could only scoff.

She did not encountered such thick-skinned individual in her father's company. It's actually her first time encountering a double-faced scum like him. She rolled her eyes out of annoyance. Without caring who will hear, Belle berated Director Ma.

"So what if you know? Go ahead and tell them! I won't stop you. Such childishness! People like you are one of the reasons that the company is about to go down. So, if it will go down, you have the capability to salvage it? Ha! Why don't you do it then? Ha? How come you only bark and not bite at all? You should quit being the Director with that crab-mentality of yours! You are not suited!"

What the old director had said earlier were now buried along with his ability to defend himself against the young woman. Therefor, he could only grit his teeth and glare at Belle and the latter did not care at all.

"Watch where you're going CEO Yang or else you will be ended up on the headlines tomorrow." with this said, Director Ma walked out from the scene fuming with anger. He could not accept that a young sprout like her dared to challenge his capability over things.

He had not been in the company over the years for nothing. He had spent almost of his life just to become a CEO in the company yet, that b*tch appeared out of nowhere to snatch his long dreamt spot without even trying! How infuriating was that?

That day, Belle continued her scheduled work without delay. It was all smooth sailing that even her could not believe that it was done just like that.
