New Family?

Having caught her he flew towards the ground only to be greeted by several beastkin in their animal form. All growling and showing their fangs, showing their hostile attitude towards the intruder.

"What is it that you want?" he asked in a condescending tone, looking around and found the fox that was accompanying the female in his hands.

"Give her back now" Bai voiced out with a low growl ready to jump at the thief.

"Why? She has lost to me so she is now mine, besides I don't see your mark anywhere on her, you have no right to bud in her business"

"She is mine, I am her first partner" Bai blurted out this sentence leaving the surroundings astonished. Li Yong could only grit his teeth at Bai's words.

Kazumi's eyes slowly opened only to be greeted by the draconic being, she wanted to struggle but the pain in her back did not cease and only caused her to let out a wine.

Having caught the sound, the Dragonewt looked in her direction, given her finally gaining her conscious he inched in at kissed her.

Kazumi came to her senses and punched his stomach and jumped out of his embrace, having reached a certain distance the numbing pain struck her back again causing her to kneel.

Bai dashed in her direction and morphed into his humanoid form and caught her, at a near distance he smelled her blood "What did you do to her"

"I marked her, see?!" Saying so he pulled his collar and showed her mark in his body, the shape of a flower they had never seen; a lotus flower.

"You did what?!!!" Kazumi burst in anger to his statement "It is not enough for you to barge in my home while I am bathing but you marked yourself?" She turned to look at Bai and conveyed to him in telepathic communication 'What does it mean to mark one'

Bai got startled to hear her voice directly in her mind 'That means that he is one of your males'

'In other words, I got myself a husband while unconscious, oh goodie -_- 'Kazumi slapped her forehead and started walking in direction of the tribe ignoring the ongoing situation.

What's done is done.

Seeing her walk away the dragonewt tried to get close to her but was stopped by the other beastkin, Bai ran towards Kazumi seeing that her walking pace was not correct.

He lifted her and carried her on his back, once they reached the tribe Bai let Kazumi down and laid near her using himself as a giant fluffy pillow.

"Are you going to accept him?" Bai hesitated to ask her

"I don't know… Family is something precious to me, in other words, my weak spot, I know he didn't do it with malice but it is infuriating to think he just marked himself" Kazumi snuggled in Bai's fur.

"Can I be part of your family?" Even if he was hesitant, he needed to know the answer

Kazumi did not answer but only lifted his nuzzle and kissed, causing Bai's fur to turn pink.

She laid on him and soon after she fell asleep, clearly tired and hurt from the previous occurring.
