Fantasia

Titania cracked an uneasy laugh as she scratched the back of her head, "I mean great. What are we waiting for?" 'Why did I think he's handsome? Darn it! Those looks are tempting.'

And so, the preparation for their infiltration began. It was a top-secret that only the four of them, including Astra, knew. Since it would create a huge issue if other nobles who were customers in Fantasia became aware of the Archduke's plan.

They also involved Rosie and made her create a special attire for the two so the locals could never recognize them. She used a particular type of fabric that came from the other side of the world. And accessories with unknown origins.

"You're role is a selfish customer that wanted all the interesting stuff." Astra reminded Titania as he helped change her hair colour by using magic on her. Because she'll certainly gain attention with that golden hair that screams 'Fairy Queen' and eyes that are prettier than the jewels.

"You're all done."

The two who went through a makeover looked at each other and observed the changes. Titania is wearing a crimson red backless long gown that showcases her porcelain white skin and a pair of silver heels that contain glitters on them.

Rosie purposely made her cleavage visible to make a confident and powerful aura. Her hair is in a peach pink colour while her eyes change into emerald green. No one could ever recognize her this way, but her gorgeous skin and features are still remarkable as always.

Sylvester lends her his hand. "Let's go."

Astra also changed the Archduke's appearance; he had long hair tied up in a ponytail and changed into a hazelnut colour. His eyes turned into a brighter shade of blue, and his attire matched with the lady, blazing red.

The two wore their masquerade masks to hide their identities. In Fantasia, where anyone could buy anything, no one actually knows anyone because of the masks that they are wearing.

This is because of the confidentiality and to keep the Auction Hall safe from the authorities like the Archduke.

Sylvester doesn't look pleased with what Titania is wearing. "Does she really need to show her body like that?"

Rosie smiled, "You said to make her into an intimidating woman."  Sylvester just rolled his eyes as they walked towards the carriage that also went into a makeover with Astra's magic.

The night has come, and the party will start soon. The pair hurried their way to the Fantasia with Alger and Blaze as their vanguards.  Awkward Silence enwrapped the carriage; ever since Titania told the news about her being able to return, Sylvester's mood drastically changed, and he came back to how he usually is. The cold and intimidating Archduke.

Titania didn't even bother asking him because she was not that interested in him. All she wants to do is to feel delighted while she's at it.

She thought that this would be the last time she would spend in this world; why not enjoy it to the fullest?

The thought of meeting her best friend again thrills her; she's thinking of telling Ashley all that happened in this fantasy world. 'She'll go insane with envy.' She giggled, which caught Sylvester's attention.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing."

The young lady just looked out at the window. The excitement she felt while going back to her original world might confuse her with her role today. And so, she has decided to close her eyes to focus more on what's about to happen.

Since this is an important mission that could affect the Archduke's status, she wouldn't want to fail, or else she might get stuck in this place for much longer than how it's supposed to be.

"Master, we've arrived."

As they got off of the carriage, Titania saw an enormous building that was made of gold. Tons of exotic yet beautiful flowers and plants surround the building giving it a more luxurious feel. It was covered with cloaking magic so only a few and chosen people could get in.

The street lights are in different colours, making it seem like the ground is changing into lots of colours pleasing to the eyes.

"Why is it made with gold?" she whispered to the Archduke as she tours her vision throughout the place.

"I don't know. Stop asking questions."

Titania rolled her eyes as she clings into Sylvester's arm because they needed to act now, or else they might get found by the other guests who just arrived with them.

They walked to the stairs. Titania couldn't believe how she was stepping on real gold just like that. 'What a waste! It's too much money just for an auction hall!' is what she thought as she tried to control her expression.

"May I see your tickets please?" A man guarding the door asked them.

Titania scoffs, "Can't you recognize me?" The man felt flustered with the lady's sudden remarks as she looked down on him.

"O-Of course I could, Madam. But we still need to see your tickets." she wanted to laugh at the man's answer. 'Is he stupid? Of course, he wouldn't be able to recognize me, lol.'

Titania rolled her eyes as Sylvester gave him the tickets to the man that received from Alger, "So, Mr Silver Ambrosia, and Mrs Tania Ambrosia. You're both from Ambrosia, if I may guess?"

"How stupid to be asking the obvious."

The man panicked, "My apologies Madam."

Titania's superb acting astounded Sylvester. He apologized to the man like how his role was supposed to do. "She's not in a good mood. I apologize for that."

The man shook his head and smiled, "Welcome to Fantasia." he opened the door leading the two inside, and what greeted them were more extravagant things that made Titania's eyes pop out of their sockets.

A colossal chandelier filled with diamonds is seen hanging on the ceiling. It lightens the whole place, making it dazzling to the eyes. The ground made of marble which the noble's houses usually use, made Titania feel anxious. It reminds her of the Imperial Palace. Although Archduchy uses marble too, it's a different and unique type of marble.

There are two stairs on both sides leading to different rooms; the Auction Hall Fantasia is not just an ordinary Auction Hall. There are also restaurants on the first floor and a hotel on the top floors to accommodate thousands of people.

"Mr and Mrs Ambrosia, this way, please." A lady wearing a white mask fitted skirt and blacktop said.

She leads them to the main hall where the special event is going to be held. "This would be your numbers." The woman gave them the numbers they could use and quickly left to attend to the others.

Titania examined the whole place. "Why does this place looks familiar?"

She soon realized that this place looked exactly like a movie theatre on Earth as she continued exploring her sight. "How did they come up with this idea?" she mumbled.

The seats are made with cotton and linen; it's so soft that it could make her feel drowsy if she's watching a dull movie. Stage lights and others are also precisely like how it is on Earth.

"Sit down, our dear guests." A man wearing a flashy outfit appeared on the stage with a microphone in his hand. "We welcome you to Fantasia! Where all the Fantastical things are."

A huge sound coming from the ceiling flustered the two, but it was only the confetti. Now they feel embarrassed and just glad that no one noticed a thing.

"Now, for our special events. The fantastical creatures that are caught only once in a blue moon let us welcome them!"

Large cages were placed into the stage one by one, with a total of ten of them. They were covered with red cloth; this made the bid callers curious and excited, but Titania felt disgusted.

These people might have a high ranking in society, yet they act like parasites. They keep expanding their riches, leaving the commoners with nothing. Seems like they love stepping on those who are below them.

"For our first item, known for their vicious nature yet magnificent appearance. They were said to be the children of the moon, the only remaining of their kind, a white-furred werewolf."

Screams of excitement filled the whole place as the staff took off the cloth hiding the creatures from their sights.

Titania couldn't believe her eyes upon seeing a young man with silver hair and tattered clothes, all tied up inside the cage. His golden eyes were screaming for help while the people looked at him with a different intention in their hearts.

"And now we're open. Who would like to bid first? Anyone?"

Sylvester leaned onto Titania's shoulder upon noticing how aggravated the young woman became. "Relax. We're not letting anyone get away from this." She took a deep breath to get back her composure.

"Number 27?"

"100,00 rubis." The high price didn't surprise the other bidders at all.  White werewolves are envied by other creatures with how smooth, and pretty their fur is; girls would like products made from that fur, which is what the person who placed the first bid thought.

"Anyone else?"

"5 million rubis." Their eyes widened with surprise when Titania suddenly raised the bid to the highest level. It was the first time they were offered with such a high value of money on the get-go.

Sylvester clapped his hand due to amusement.

"W-Woah! The lady in red is raising it, everyone! Who would dare to fight her?"

Titania smiled at all of them when deep inside, she couldn't bear looking at these people. It disgusts her to the core.

Her memories in that cage came flashing into her mind as soon as her gaze landed on those cages. That's why she couldn't let those living things be inside that longer than this.

"10 million rubis."

Titania's eyes shifted to her back as she heard those words. "My My! Looks like Sir with the blue mask will take this gorgeous wolf."

"100 million rubis."

The host's eyes almost popped out upon hearing such large amounts right from the lady's mouth.

"A-And that's it, folks! Lady in blazing red would take this majestic creature!"

They all were still in awe of how confident and assertive the young woman was. Although she was suffocated, she tried to look her best as the host made her stand up and wave at everyone.

They brought six more creatures, too, which made the other bidders feel scared of Titania. However, Sylvester took the initiative to stay silent as the event came to an end. "We'll stay low for now." He whispered into Titania's ears.

"And our last and the best of them all, open it!"

As though something stabbed her right in the heart, it began thumping so loud that all she could hear was the beating of her heart.

The soft voice of a young girl that used to always follow her from behind. That same girl is now inside the cage. Shackles on both of her feet and bruises on her arms. "H-Hazel."

Nina saw Titania's memories, and the fairy she's seeing is her best friend. Just like how Ashley is towards her, that's how Hazel is for Titania.

Tears formed in her eyes as rage filled her heart. "How could they do something like this."

Her broken wings look like it wouldn't be able to fly again. That's when memories of Titania watching Hazel fly in the bright sky came into her mind.

"T-That's her friend."

Sylvester's gaze shifted to the lady. "Whose?"

"Titania's."

Before they could even start the bidding, sounds of screams permeated the entire auction hall. "Let's go." Sylvester grabbed Titania's hand and pulled her towards the exit, but it was harder to get out because of the people panicking and trying to get out first.

"What's happening?"

"It has begun."

Titania didn't know what the Archduke was talking about, but when she looked back to the stage where Hazel was. They had eye contact that made her heart soft, and she wanted to cry when she realized that Hazel knew who she was.

'I'm not her.'
