I ACCEPT

She was still 23. She had never thought of the idea of getting married. She had t never planned how her wedding was going to be.

But now in her current situation . Her opinion did not really matter.

She had to accept because she did not know what kind of people she was dealing with. I mean she literally saw the two men fly. She wondered what else they could do. If the two men whom she had seen earlier could fly then she could not imagine what the others could also do. She did not want to create any more problems that would lead to her harm. So she finally decided to accept.

Everything was becoming so complicated for her. She had to think fast. Never in her life had she ever been in such a complicated situation. No matter how complicated anything was for her she always found a way out. But this time luck was not on her side and the only way for her out was to accept the marriage. What else could she have done. She had it in her mind that if she did not accept they would harm her or force her. She did not want to make it hard for them because she thought that it would be disadvantageous to her. So she made a final decision. To accept and marry a complete stranger. And stay with strange people for the rest of her life. This was a lifetime decision she was making and she was not going to go back.

"Neya, do you accept?" Jordan politely asked. "My apologies Neya but it seems like I have forgotten to give you more details about this.

"Neya, if you accept and get married to Nahor and manage to change him from the person who he is now into a new better person. Well your side of the deal will be completely done and you will be free from here.Your life will go back to normal. Just the way it was before.You and your grandma.And I promise you that you will never see us again.

Besides you will be walking out of here with a fortune enough to last you and your grandma a lifetime.

And you will have the protection you have never thought of getting.

So just say yes already because you have no other choice. I hope you still remember that.

Those words just continuously rang through her ears. He was right though.

She did not have any other choice. She was not in the position to say no.

She did not what they would do to her if she did not accept. But she had already made her final decision. Jordan's words did scare her a bit but it was not because of them that she was accepting.

So with a lot of thought and hesitation she said "I accept." Never in her life had she imagined that saying those two words would hurt so much.

"I accept,"she repeated them slowly. The more she said them, the more pain she felt. She was only doing this for her and her grandma's well being.

When she had heard that Jordan knew everything about her and her grandma. She then realized that these were not ordinary people. They were very powerful and she did not want to mess with them. Any single mistake could cost her her life.

She was at least happy to know that they would get the protection they needed.

She had thought that she would be there for the rest of her life but it turned out that she would only be there until the time that she completed her part of the deal. She was glad that she would be with her grandma once she was finished.

Now she was completely determined to complete her part of the deal so that she could get out of there and get back to her grandma.

"Finally. I will have to remind you that you should make sure you fulfill what you have been told to do. Please do not fail to do this. And also I forgot to tell you. There is one thing that is not tolerated in this palace. "Disobedience" l hope I did not scare you."

"One more thing. Prepare yourself, the wedding is tomorrow. Everything thing that you require will be provided and the maidservants will help you prepare."

"I am counting on you to do this.Do not disappoint me"Jordan said.

After he had said that,he just left the room.

Neya did not know what she had gotten herself in to.

She was going to marry a man whom she had never met. She never imagined her marriage this way. She did not want this life of being treated like a princess. Her every care and need would be her maidservants' responsibility. She would be treated like a princess very soon. She did not want that life. She only wanted her peaceful life with her grandma.

Oh how she wished she could go back in time and change everything.

Those words always gave her the courage that she needed. They filled her heart with so much courage and gave her the strength to keep going on.

Those words gave her the courage to face any battle or withstand any storm.

She was now ready for anything. The challenges that were coming ahead of her. She was going to face them.
