Shikera shook her head.
"Maybe i don't need to hear the reason, Ethan. After all, you are stuck with me for the next three days," she said, a bright smile forming on her face.
A small sigh escaped Ethan's lips, the words she had whispered in his ears earlier echoing in his mind, 'You owe me a wish. Don't you, Honey? The wish I earned in exchange for giving you a goodnight kiss every night.'
Schooling his face into a stoic expression, he asked, "So what's your wish? You can't ask to get married again."
"Why not? I would have loved to. You know, have a big wedding and all just like every normal couple out there," Shikera eyed him, feigning disappointment. Seeing that he was hesitant to reply her, she changed the topic immediately. "My wish is to have you to myself for three days. After that, I'll let you go and you do the same. We become strangers."
"I won't agree to that," Ethan deadpanned.
