Cedric felt the mana drain from his body as his new skill activated. His vision turned ethereal as he saw the faintest traces of mana scattered around him. His body became heavy, as if fighting against a relentless stream.
The shadow commander rushed toward him, shadows exploding around him and fueling his spearhead. Its speed broke through unprecedented levels, leaving footprints on the giant's body. The spearhead shot toward Cedric, who had taken a single step.
Boom!
Mana exploded from Cedric's body alongside his shadow. The mana infused into his body while the shadows wrapped around him, transporting him into an unknown realm. The spearhead pierced through his body, but the afterimage vanished in the next instant.
