Chapter 90 - Missing Details

"Shelly, think carefully—do you really trust Allen? Do you think you can hand everything over to him?"

Felix pressed on with his questions, and Blanch felt a headache coming on.

"Alright, stop talking!" she said sharply. "I need some space. I don't want to discuss this right now. I'll know everything when I see Allen."

Seeing her in such a state, Felix decided not to push further, but his words planted a seed of doubt in Blanch's mind. After all, weren't they arguing over Jason's custody? If Allen really took Jason away because of her and Felix's issues, because of the "illegitimate child," she didn't know what she would do.

Upon arriving at their destination, Blanch hurried out of the car to look for Allen, with Felix following closely behind.

"You don't need to come with me," Blanch said to Felix, fearing another misunderstanding.

But Felix insisted, "I have to follow you. What if something happens? Allen isn't a merciful person."
