Alan seemed to be asking himself, or maybe he was asking her.
"I'm no good anywhere, haven't you always known that?" Blanche, having just experienced fear, now felt dead inside when it came to Alan. Jason had already been taken to safety by Felix, so she no longer had anything to worry about.
"Listen closely, even if you're with Felix, I won't let you off easily. Don't think that just because Felix is helping you, you can rest easy. If I want to go after someone, I'll chase them to the ends of the earth and make them pay!" Alan threatened.
"Go ahead and try," Blanche stubbornly stood her ground, "No one can separate me from Jason, not even you!"
The two of them stood facing each other, Blanche fighting against her inner fear. She was truly afraid that Alan would tear her apart in the next moment.
"Then tell me," Alan's voice took on an eerie tone, "Do you think Felix would still want a woman who's carrying another man's child?"
