Felix still cared about Isabella; she could tell.
"Don't try to pull any tricks on me. If you don't help me, I'll hold you accountable," she warned.
Blanche smiled. "I won't."
Blanche arranged for Isabella to disappear for a few days in front of Felix. As the saying goes, when someone's presence becomes a habit, their absence will feel uncomfortable.
Blanche set up a small apartment for Isabella, thinking it would be good for her to stay quietly for a few days. Allen also agreed, saying that if he had someone like Isabella around, he would probably have gone crazy by now.
"You don't have Isabella around, but you do have a Leslie. That doesn't pressure you," Blanche said, a hint of jealousy creeping into her voice.
Allen caught the tone and laughed. "What, are you jealous? Even if I had Leslie, it wouldn't prove anything."
