Prologue: Game Over

Sparrow watched as the sky turned dark above her. Her sight turned up to the endless blue as her life drained away.

She couldn't breathe as she suffocated on her own blood. She'd been stabbed and dragged to a field where the assaulter left her for dead.

Her eyes fluttered shut as darkness took hold and her consciousness drifted into oblivion...
