Suddenly out of nowhere the Spiritual Energy in the air rushed into Keiren's body and gathered in his lungs where they were absorbed into the organ itself. After what looked like him taking in one big breath, the entire area got drained of energy.
Once a cultivator entered the Immortal Realm, they would gain a special ability called Divine Sense. It granted them the ability to perceive the small details in their surroundings. While its effectiveness in battle was far less than one might assume, one of its benefits was that it allowed an individual to perceive the density of energy in their surrounding.
At the Eternal Immortal Stage, one's Divine Sense would be strong enough to cover hundreds of kilometers in every direction. For Galatris and Rajansam it had briefly looked like Keiren had transformed into a black hole,
The most astonishing discovery, however, was that the Spiritual Energy on the edge of the void didn't come rushing back in. Rather, it appeared to back away as if it were afraid to enter the void.

"Blood..." a faint whisper from Ken's lips was everything he managed to utter.

As Ken regained awareness of his surroundings, he realized that he was back in his bed and Shyla was crying right by his side, so he said in a weak voice: "Hey, don't cry. You know that you look ugly when you cry. Now that we are married, I can't allow my wife to look ugly, can I?" His mouth split into a broad grin as he spoke, trying to downplay the fact that he had been unconscious for multiple hours.
"You idiot!!!" Shyla cried out loud and lunged at him, embracing his neck, as if he would otherwise vanish in a second, "How dare you scare me like that?! I thought I would lose you too!!! Do you think we could live without Vera and you? Let me tell you something, losing Vera gave us the biggest hit in our life. If we lose you too, our lives will become worthless."
Ken embraced his wife and pressed her on his chest. "You might not know, so I will tell you a secret. I would come back from the Death for you. Nothing can stop me from returning to you."
"I'm serious," Shyla rebutted, though she calmed down a bit.
"Me, too. Even if it takes me a million years." Ken tried to reassure Shyla.
"So what happened to you this time, that you collapsed and were unconscious for three Hours?" Shyla asked, playfully and weakly hitting him on the chest
"It's hard to explain, so it might be best to simply show you."

"Honey, have you ever imagined that your husband could breathe fire?" Ken asked in pure disbelief. Despite the massive amount of SP and the elemental abilities he had received, the Ability to breathe fire was the one that shocked him the most.
"No, I never imagined you breathing fire, why?" Shyla answered, confused by the question.
"Well, I hope that it's not a dealbreaker for you then, because apparently you now have a fire-breathing husband… a thunderfire-breathing husband to be precise." Ken explained with a laugh.
"Are you sure, you're alright? You sound crazy." Shyla shook her head with a frown. Her eyes and cheeks were still moist from the crying. She reached out to touch Keiren's forehead, concerned that he might have caught a fever. It wouldn't surprise her. They might be vaccinated against the diseases on Earth, but this world was a completely different ballgame.
Here cultivation was a thing. Giant eagle, divine beings, and everything that she always disregarded as fantasy was fucking real right now. Everything her system had told her about Chaosia so far, sounded like it came straight out of the mind of a hyper ADHD kid who had smoked way too much weed and survived on nothing but a liquid diet consisting of energy drinks mixed with alcohol.
In the isekai novels she had read at home together with Vera, in which the protagonists had plot armor as thick as the mistakes in the last season of GoT, none of them had ever talked about the massive assortment of new diseases that could befall the fragile human body.
Additionally, the way Ken acted since they got here made her worry… A LOT!
Unfortunately, the System of Eternal Wisdom gave her nothing in this regard, only telling her that she needed 50 medical Wisdom Points to unlock the 'basic' knowledge about Chaosia's diseases. No indication about possible treatments or anything else.
"Yes, I'm alright and I understand that I might sound crazy, but with everything you've seen is it really so hard to believe? Besides, you can blame my system for that." Ken shrugged with a smile.

"Now, look at that." Keiren took a breath and released a small cloud of purple Thunderfire and smoke as he exhaled. Shyla looked at the fantastical display in wonder and awe.

Shyla read her System notification and sighed internally. Why did her System come with safety measures, while Kens seemed to happily hand out things that tried to kill him over and over again?

The world around them began to spin, and they disappeared from the bedroom.
At exactly that moment, David walked into the room in the hopes his friend would have regained his consciousness by now. He could already hear some noise from the room, so he gleefully opened the doors wide… only to see Ken and Shyla disappearing, giving him the fright of his life.
