Over Breakfast (4)

~•Amara•~

"I know right. I really expected people here to act more civilized, but here they are, burning other people's belongings, or throwing football at others." I shook my head as I stared back at Aden who was now glaring back at me.

If staring could kill someone, I would have been long dead. But too bad for him that it didn't work that way. Moreover, I was genuinely enjoying my time with the two of them.

I wouldn't say that it was because he was there, eating breakfast with me. It was rather because I had found a girl with whom I could bash him and take my frustrations out.

To think about it all, she wasn't half bad. I think I might even give her a green light if Aden wanted to get together with her. It wouldn't be easy for me, but at least he would be happy.

"In my defense, I was throwing it at my friend." Aden finally spoke up, not wanting to get blamed for something he only had a hand in.
