Bugger Off

~•Amara•~

"I somehow had my doubts about you being an angel after seeing you using your powers. Angels cannot produce maroon flames now, can they?"

I was shocked, left utterly baffled, as my mind took its own slow pace to register his words. Did it mean that he wasn't utterly unconscious when I was using dark magic to relieve him of his pain?

That was the only possible explanation as to why he was able to see it. He had somehow managed to hold on the last bit of energy left in his system and forced himself sane.

"I-I…" I stared back into his eyes as he continued to hold my gaze. I was at a loss for words, not knowing what to say in return, or how to reply to him.

After I had confessed to him about my identity, I was worried. The thought alone of him avoiding me like some devious plague was enough to drive my mind crazy. It scared me to say the least.

"Y-you what?" He said, teasing me.
