chapter 1

Ivy's pov

It's been three days since John has been missing and I still have no leads. I don't know if it's a coincidence but how come the new puppet friend looks like John. I have so many questions how can that show be related to this case but how can it be. This is really stressing me out I'm going to take a break, maybe I'll go on a date with my wife.

As I was going to go see my wife I saw my kid, missy just sitting and staring at the TV and muttering some so I decided to ask her what's she saying. When I asked what she was saying she said she didn't know what I'm talking about I'm starting to get concerned about her so I asked her if she wanted to get some ice cream and she didn't hesitate to say yes she went upstairs. When she did that I snuck up to my wife and wrapped my arms around her she was shocked and I kissed her cheek, she giggled and I asked her if she wanted to get ice cream with me and missy. She said yes when we left to go outside I saw missing posters of John nobody knows where he is I need to take my mind off of him. When we got ice cream I asked my wife if she's heard missy muttering stuff and she nodded her head and she didn't know what she was saying either but she only does it during that puppet show. I know somethings up with that show I just don't know yet and I need to know what missy saying every time I ask her she says she doesn't remember. I know it sounds far fetch but maybe she knows what happened with John? She was his friend after all but then again she's just a kid and she is friends with everyone. ....

2 days later

We searched everywhere for John, the parents were devastated, but something even more devastating... Another kid disappeared a little girl named Sally but this time there was a trace her parents said that she was going to a sleepover with her friends, Millie and Cindy. So we decided to ask them some questions  when we asked them what they were doing at the sleepover they said that they were going to watch the new sunshine school episode since they said that they were going to have a new friend.  I was so confused then when did she disappear, I asked them when was the last time they saw her... When they said she was "chosen" I was even more confused what does that mean when I asked them who took her Millie and Cindy said in sync with a monotone voice that "they will take them away". I figured out that this wasn't going forward for awhile So I left and told their parents to keep an eye on them something not right is happening I need to know what is happening with this show maybe I'll watch an episode with my daughter. When I arrived home I decided to look into the shows creator but as luck have it my computer and phone wasn't working so I went down stairs to see an episode with my daughter. The show seemed very normal no secret "codes" or hints the only thing odd was the new friend that once again looked like Sally until I had more evidence I can't assume that they have something to do with this. When watching the show they said that they will have a new "friend" next week I don't know if I should be concerned, my daughter look so dead inside well watching is this how all the kids are when watching this damn show? I decided to ask my daughter what they mean that they'll have a new friend but all she did was do the same as Millie and Cindy I know something is you with this show I should ban my daughter from watching it but it helping with her manners. I decided to sleep it off and sleep I was tired I had a dream it was very weird I was hearing whispers of kids saying help me and save us and telling me that if I don't do anything that more kids will disappear. I tried to follow the voice of the kids but I felt some monster grabbing my leg before it can pull me down I woke up in cold sweat panting. I decided to tell my wife and she gave me a kiss and she told me that it was just a dream... It didn't feel like a dream though.. it felt so real... I felt to question more of the parents if they noticed anything different about thire kids they all replied with the same answer that their kids are in a trance and whispering stuff that they couldn't understand.. how can this be possible all the kids doing the same thing and who will take them away if I know about where the missing kids are and why are the puppets look like missing kids. Maybe I'm just overthinking, I need a break from this case these kids are a lost cause I should go to the next town over to see if the kids ended up there I just hope that they weren't traffic everyone is so sweet over here. I decided to try and pry Cindy for answers maybe she'll slip. I decided to question her about her friend over and over again but she would keep saying the same answer. I told her no one will find out if she told me but she said that they always listen I was so confused who is listening I told her that I will protect her and she started to breakdown cry and she said that the monster took them when she realized her mistake she looked scared and told me to leave... By the end of this conversation i knew something wasn't good going on in that show at all but I still need to figure out what is the monster?...
