It had been over two months since she woke up in this strange place in the company of a strange man. She didn't know if she should feel relieved for not being dead yet or be tensed up that she didn't know who she was with. She had learnt to always expect the worst out of any situation so she had settled for the latter.
However, she came to learn that the person whom she inhabited his residence was an old acquaintance of her father and she had been thrown into shock. She didn't know much about her father since he passed when she was little. The cause of his death she never knew, and had never asked since she was little back then. The plan was to know more about him when she was older, but fate had decided otherwise and the only person who could relay the information was lost ten years ago. But now, she had another opportunity.
Her everyday life here was intense training and chores. The house they stayed in was very furbished. It's interior design was antique and from a single glance one could make out that it was a wealthy man's Mansion. The space was clearly too much for two people but she wouldn't stay any second without him pushing her beyond her limit's.
He was charismatic and had a passionate spirit. So much that the flames from his Passion couldn't help but burn into her soul too. His sense of humor was buoyant and it reminded her Aaron. She had already mastered her newly found power to a whole new level now and was still training.
She could now freeze water at will and also draw it from her natural environment. She could feel within herself a new fire burning, and she loved the warmth it provided.
She felt lonely though, even though Nathaniel was cheerful and all, he wasn't quite in her circle. She missed Warren, Lucas and Hayley and wouldn't stay a night without thinking of them. She felt selfish, two months had already passed and she hasn't even made an attempt to look for them. 'i have to get strong enough before I can search for them' she always lied to herself. Part of her wanted them far away from where she was. Trouble followed her and she was tired of the people she loved always getting hurt because of her curse.
Warren couldn't spend a without thinking of her. The thoughts of the pain she might be going through because he wasn't able to protect became an infinite motivation to his unresolved vendetta. He was going to get back at the Triumvirates no matter what it took.
Ever since he had gotten better, he had dedicated his entire life to training until he found her. He wasn't going to look weak ever again in front of her.
Sometimes he felt wronged by Sian. 'what if he was chasing after illusions? Unrequited love that he had devoted himself to ' He was overthinking and it wasn't good. He shoved those thoughts aside and focused on finding her first.
Lucas's treatment took longer to heal because the stabbing from Caleb reached his bones. But the man was better now. Lucas and Hayley had grown fond of each other. And watching them constantly reminded him of Sian
They also trained without ceasing and honed their skills to its peak. Lucas was on a whole new level and it was evident. His domineering aura only got better and his sword skills were more than commendable. Almost as good as, if not better than Caleb's.
She felt comfortable around him and had this feeling anytime she was around him. Such deja Vu. Could she be in love? Again? The only lesson she had ever learnt from love was the bitter ones and she was afraid to try again. But Lucas was different. She felt free around him. And never felt unsafe in his arms. He was her comfort zone and she couldn't imagine leaving him.
She laid her head on his laps and faced the star dotted sky. His strong but gentle grip held her firmly as they gazed at the clear skies.
"Do you think she's alright?" She asked.
Lucas looked at her and smiled. "Sian is strong, I'm sure she's doing fine" He replied. His hypothesis of her being alright might seem odd and he could it. He knew the people he worked it, and he knew that if Sian's powers had been absorbed, then he probably wouldn't be alive by now. The name Elemental might as well be extinct. The only thing holding them wiping the Elemental race from existence was probably Sian and since they haven't commenced their massacre, she was probably alright.
He cleared his head of the damnations he had imagined and focused on Hayley's beautiful face instead. They weren't sure of what they wanted with Sian, or whether this psychopath was after the Elementals. It was best he kept his thoughts positive and devoid of negativity.

Harold never imagined that one with such power existed outside the organization. Ever since they failed in retrieving Sian, they had been looked down upon. The single reason that they were still alive was because of Inferno. Being the surrogate of the most powerful being definitely had it advantages. They had mentioned the stranger to Inferno since the healer seemed familiar with him.
"He's alive heh, Nathaniel" was all Inferno could say.
'Nathaniel' his name fueled the newly found thirst for more power in him. He had been training relentlessly and improving as much as he can ever since their encounter and he had made tremendous progress. He was exceptionally talented and had mastered the use of war sickles in a mere month.
Edmund and Caleb didn't fall short of the embarrassment also, and they didn't waver in their training. Edmund had questioned his father about Sian and he got nothing but a feeling that completely answered his question. His father had flared his evil aura and given him a look that screamed
"You will be hanged if you asked such again"
Edmund had grown suspicious of their actions, And with every passing day, he drew farther away from their operations.
He knew better than to question their superiors, they were monsters in terms of power and they didn't like retaliation in the slightest bit. He owed his life to them. Deserted after birth, he never knew his real parents. They had taken him in and taught him all he knew and the least he could do was offer them his full loyalty without doubts.
Caleb was shut off too, his sense of humor was lost and he looked sober every passing day. This Nathaniel of a being had deeply scarred their image as well as their spirit and they weren't going to let it slide easily.

"How was he like? Sian asked
"Who?"
"My father." She clarified. She had waited for the best time to ask this question and what better time could it be than when they were having dinner.
"Oh, he was a man who always put others before himself. He wanted to save everybody and was too trusting." Nathaniel explained. He paused, took a sip of his wine and continued. "We met when were younger, the four of us were inseparable and went everywhere together."
"Four of you?" She questioned clearly overwhelmed by excitement and curiosity.
"Yes, four of us. Your father, I, Inferno and Alexander."
"What happened to the to the other two? Inferno and Alexander?" She asked admist chews of beef.
"That will be story for another day. Let's just say your father put his trust in the wrong people." He ended before leaving the table without finishing his meal.
It was already enough for her to understand that the two people she asked about had probably betrayed her father's trust and maybe had a connection to his death,. But she wasn't certain and she wouldn't keep uncorroborated information in her mind. She didn't have time for such, she needed to focus on finding her comrades, or rather, her Friends.
