It's Over

Sian and Edmund began their tag team, each of them jumping in to stop the tyrant anytime he made any progress in his plan. The others had eventually regained themselves and they were back to square one. Even though he still outmatched them, thier number and unity made it really difficult to even make a bit of progress. They were as annoying as ever each of them covered for the other while another attacked. Their co ordination and co operation was simply superb. None of them slowed the other down and none of them tried to overdo beyond what they could.

Alexander raised an earth wall shielding himself from wind blades from his son after sending Warren out of his range with a fire ball while countering a fire attack from Edmund with another fire based attack. Edmund sent more fire attacks not giving him anytime to concentrate on one attacker. Harold was easily the strongest amongst them and keeping Alexander busy while Harold attacked was a pretty good strategy but it only seemed to work for a while. With every attack he threw at the tyrant and every passing second, he was getting used to their strategy and was easily coping with their assault.

Caleb descended from above making and caught the madman off guard. He had reacted on time, but that left him open to an attack from Edmund. The attack knocked Alexander off his feet but he managed to land without falling. Putting off his burning cloth with a flick of his finger, he erased am incoming fire ball before countering a wind blade from Harold. He deflected Caleb's scythe, only to fall prey to an unforseen kick to the thighs.

It was amazing how someone could wield such a big weapon and still maintained such combat speed. This swordsman was talented. Alexander acknowledged mentally before leaping away from a descending blade.

Earth spikes rose from the floor the second his hand touched the earth but Caleb was fast enough to react, and swing his scythe towards the hand that had conjured up the attack before it did more.

He projected forward the second his feet touched the ground while Edmund and Harold covered him as he delivered his attacks. Alexander took a deep breath before rushing forward. He had been acting recklessly lately and has been taking hits from these low level amateurs. The thought of even being touched by an ordinary human without gifts infuriated him the more.

He launched forward, blitzing the approaching Caleb and knocking him down before the human even realized

Caleb received a direct hit to the stomach that pushed him backwards but before his body could even move a kick to the jaw sent him upwards and all this time, he could barely see who delivered these blows. Everything happened so fast and before he could even react from the floor he laid on now, he felt a sharp pain in his laps. The tyrant had dug his blade into them. He groaned in pain restricting himself from screaming before swiping at the demon's below with his other leg but the monster was quick to escape.

Caleb stood weakly, limping backwards a bit and preparing himself for another attack. His scythe was still in hand and his face spoke that he wasn't ready to give up but before he could make another move, he felt Warren's hand grip him on the shoulder pushing him backwards onto the softness of Sian's water basket before surging forward at the tyrant.

He fell onto the ball of liquid which gently lowered him on the floor.

"You can't keep up" Sian said freezing over his bleeding lap. Inferno had appeared and without saying another word to Caleb, Sian rushed forward into battle, leaving him in the care of their used to be enemy.

Warren joined Edmund and Harold making the team a trio once more. They were now almost evenly matched with the tyrant and kept up with him mid difficulty. Every attack he dished out, they countered and returned the favor.

Edmund launched into the air using Harold's air boost before pouring down flames at Alexander.

The tyrant had easily reacted to the attack canceling the flames without effort and sending another fire blade towards the airborne Edmund before handling his son. Warren approached from the side attacking the tyrant before he dealt any more damage to the fallen Harold.

Edmund countered the attack mid air before landing. He regained his composure and joined forces with Warren. Lately Alexander had been cancelling out his attacks and he was well aware of the reason. His fight with his father had weakened him considerably and he was doing his best to preserve his energy as much as he could. Every attack he brought forward and every counter was painstakingly projected forward with the right amount of energy. Not too small and not too much and it seemed the tyrant had realized this and had taken his time to make him look useless by canceling out all of his attacks without even breaking a sweat.

He was infuriated but he couldn't act out of anger. Acting beyond his limits would be reducing their chances and it was a risk he couldn't take. He would keep fighting until he was completely depleted but not because he acted of anger.

He still continued the fight double teaming with Warren until Sian entered. The three of them synced their attacks not giving the tyrant any chances at all.

Alexander dodged their attacks, countered those his could and erased the few. He was already nearing half his strength and with their numbers, they would outmatch him if he loses much of his energy. He needed to get to the girl as fast as he could and without wasting much energy.

This time around he was going on the offensive. He sent out his wave of fire countering their attacks at once. His flame abilities were almost on par with Inferno's even though the slight different was still noticeable. His best element was easily wind and the least he had mastery over was earth. He sent air blades forward countering every attack the trio threw his way. He didn't have time for child's play any longer.

Harold got up from he laid and joined in, the four of the doing their best to push the rampaging Alexander backwards. Warren and Harold dealt with their offensive attacks while Sian and Edmund dealt with either counter or defense. They had all noticed that Edmund was already down on energy and the best way to conserve it was keeping him out of the Frontline.

Warren slid past an air ball, did a summersault over a fire arrow before reaching the tyrant. He was doing his best to engage Alexander in close combat while the remaining three did their best to deliver element based attacks towards the tyrant. He was already near his exhaustion and was doing his best to conserve his remaining energy through hand to hand combat. He had just began to notice what the tyrant had meant in the beginning. He ran out of energy faster than the rest of the team and it was probably because he didn't have a fully developed elemental core but he didn't let those words get to him. He was going to keep fighting until it killed him.

Alexander held a blow from the half breed and elbowed him in the stomach. He countered a triple attack from the attacking trio before slamming the half breed into the earth.

Alexander ducked low just in time saving his head from cremation before covering himself in a bubble. He touched down on the earth inside his bubble sending out spikes to the three before breaking out of the shield and lurching towards them.

They all raised their defenses blocking the incoming spikes before launching their own attacks but he easily bypassed their efforts and reached them. He took hold of Edmund's neck and punched him sideways before going after Harold who also rushed forward towards him. He was the last defense that stood before his father and victory. Edmund was already out of energy and Warren didn't seem like he was waking up any sooner.

Harold countered his father's flames with his wind based attack sending out different variation of attacks at once to slow the man down and at the same time exhausting his energy at a faster rate. He used the cover of his attacks to get close to the tyrant aiming to deliver a devastating blow but his plan had backfired. His father had cleared through the attacks faster than he had anticipated and had gotten hold of him.

He choked on his father's grip on his neck just before he felt his body being slammed into the floor. The man raised him up once again and brought him down on the ground three more times before knocking him unconscious with a kick to the side of the head.

Sian rushed forward throwing forward all she had. The others were already down and she was now left to face him.

He broke through all her attacks his face not looking the least friendly at all. He was serious and he was approaching her with speed she couldn't comprehend. He reached her and knocked away an ice ball she tried to conjure out of her command. A slap to the face sent her to the floor but before she could even regain herself, he rose her up with air and sent her down to the earth once more with another slap.

"It's over!" He finalized finally binding her entire body under the earth while she struggled effortlessly to break free. Alexander squatted down to her level and without even looking sent an approaching Inferno flying before he could anything.

"Your death will be for the greater good" He said finally placing his entire palm over her face admist her struggling.

She did her best to break free, pouring in all her energy to the earth to cancel his attack but neither was fruitful. His had gripped her face as she threw her head sideways violently trying to shake off his grip but it wasn't fruitful either. Tears dropped down from her eyes as she felt her energy slowly leaving her body, her eyes turning white once more in resonance with his.
