Chapter Fifty-One: A scheming Dusken
The vibration of the ground continued as booms rang out in the surroundings. The air pressured the area, carrying with it an undeniable momentum.
Winds swept through the battlefield, a chaotic mess being formed in their wake. Under the golden light of dawn, the mess of the battlefield was revealed like a portrait of ancient ruins bloodied from war.
Dusken observed all these while staring at the lady before him with a light-hearted smile, twisting his lips while he awaited her response.
The lady's demeanour was calm on the outside, but her thoughts were spinning like a whirlpool in her mind.
'What's his plan?' This was her first question. Unlike the soldiers of the Althea Nation, she had never underestimated Dusken.
Underestimating an Abyssal Demon chosen by the Abyssal Devil himself was nothing short of foolishness. Yet, she couldn't decipher Dusken's intentions, and that troubled her deeply.
