"If they wanted to erase the traces of the guardian then why make verbal myths about them? And what's the connection of the witches to the four knights?" Hugh asked seemingly thinking about what he just learned.
"Hmmm…" Direck leaned back and crossed his arms to his chest. "Oh! About that family? The Lexonshithe family?" The look on Direck's face was blank.
As if he was talking about a different family with which he didn't have any connection.
Leticia observed how the Director she knew had a different side that she had never thought of.
Direck continued, "The reason why they began to pass it down as myths…"
He paused and suddenly scoffed.
It was so out of place from the serious situation, that Hugh and Leticia had to look at each other to ask questions using their imaginary telepathy.
'What's wrong with him?'
Hugh thought as he looked at Leticia.
'I don't know…' Leticia answered with a shrug.
