Dinner

Eating dinner together is supposed to be a family thing. The time when brothers and sisters get to bond by bickering to one another and calling each other silly names.

Father and mother ask each other how their day was and tell each other 'I love yous.'

The family gets to tell each other what is going on in their lives.

And as Gal Ryder stared at the people she was having dinner with, she felt sadness in her heart, it reminded her of when she was at Ryder's Pack.

But the scene in front of her wasn't how she imagined her life would be while she stayed at the Oceans Pack.

Listening to her brother happily explaining to Michaela and Timothy what the hand of an artist looks like while they were waiting for dinner to be ready, she decided to stare at her feet.

The dinner was getting prepared by her 'godmother' and Timothy's mother. Something which had never crossed her mind.

Never.

Was she becoming reckless and sloppy?
